The trailers for these films always make them seem more enjoyable than they are. But I like Marky Mark and the action looks great. That shot of Grimlock charging towards Optimus looks awesome!

Man that shot looks cool!t: Also I don't get why people are complaining that Grimlock gets owned by Optimus. That wasn't a throw it was kind of like a shunt, like sidestepping and allowing your opponents weight to do them in using little force from you. I just find it crazy that Grimlock is that huge, how on earth are they going to explain where they were? They had better been stuck deep in the earth for a millennia as the 2nd movie showed that Earth had been visited by the Transformers before humans ever lived. The space bridge in 3 also points to this revelation. Only odd thing is Transformers not actually being marooned on the planet wedged in an inactive volcano on Telatran-1.

Also don't bet on GrimLock ever beating a Prime, they are Primes for the simple reason as being the single best combatant bar none, the all spark imbues them with even more power than they already had. Too bad it doesn't simply allow them to draw out some bad ass power in a pinch. I wonder if Ultra Magnus will make an appearance in this movie?

The thing that excited me the most, was seeing Optimus in the classic semi truck mode. Everything else, eh. Great action is always a given in these Movies. I want to know if the story will actually be good this time.

As someone who loathes Bay's Transformers from start to finish, I was impressed by how not-offended I was by the teaser trailer. I'm not going to go as far as saying I'm excited for the movie (still hate the robot designs, the invasive aroma of contemporary americana etc.), but I may actually enjoy this film just enough.

Colour me somewhat optimistic.

I have to agree, and i have been one to trash the other 3, but so far from the trailer alone (and i know it's only a trailer) It looks good. I like the homage to the G1 version, i like the tone with the new family, so far it looks promising to me.

Kinda the way trailers work. Just look at every film last year. From the robot one to the cowboy one.

Given the non mixed response to the trailers for Ironman3/Man of Steel/ Thor2 and the mixed responses to the actual films there is a pattern.

Really enjoyed the trailer. I like the new font and I like the fact the world hates them. Too many US flags in the background though, but that'll obviously play a part in the plot (they can't possibly be traitors if they proudly display the flag!) and I can't wait for those scenes in China with the Dinobots, mainly because they aren't bloody deserts.

And here's how I know this movie will be just as bad as the last three: trailer has a ton of dialog, and only one line of of it is spoken by a Transformer.

What has always made the Transformers appealing isn't merely that they're sweet fighting robots, it's that they're fun characters. Until the people making these movies realize that, they'll always suck.

Or, short version: take Guardians of the Galaxy trailer; replace Guardians with Autobots. Done.

How can you confirm the quality of the film from the trailer? That sounds silly. If anything, the previous three films are an indication of its quality, but seeing as there was no Writer's Strike, and it's a completely fresh new cast, I hazard a guess this will be mediocre-to-decent from a cinematic snob point of view. From an action-movie Transformers point of view it will no doubt be the shot of adrenaline the franchise has needed.

The only thing you judge a film by its trailer on is whether you want to see it or not. Anything else is ridiculous and pretentiously stupid.

Someday we will get a Transformers movie that focuses on the actual stories of the Transformers with little to no humans...someday. On the bright side my cousins wouldn't love Transformers if it wasn't for these movies so its awesome to share that love with them! Even if I'm not a fan of them.

That day will come when CGI isn't super expensive and a studio can afford to have a CGI character on screen for most of the movie
