I feel the Tanks and Scientists are a bit too weak and that the Fusion Canon is a bit too over powered.

If the fusion cannon is the vehicle canon then no damn way man. That thing is hella weak. It takes 4 shots to take someone out and by that time you've already been blasted to bits.

Ohhh yea, dont think iv used that one online. It was pretty damn strong in the SP tho.

That's a bit too strong... SP is one thing.. MP is another. I actually feel its a bit more unbalanced than it was during the demo.

I also just bought the day one DLC. They had me at Wheeljack.

Im trying to like this MP, but something about it just seems, inconsistent. One match ill use the Titan class and ill get shredded by a little infiltrator even tho I'm blasting the s**t outta him with that chain gun type weapon. So next match i use the infiltrator and roll up on a titan and i might as well be throwing pebbles at him. No other MP game that i play leaves me scratching my head the way this one does. Every damn time i get killed its a 'wtf, how did he kill me' moment. I never have those in Gears or Battlefield.

Thinkin of picking this up tomorrow. Watched the Gamespot review though and it said the ps3 version wasn't great, was buggy and pixelated or something. Anyone experience this?

Yeah i'm playn on ps3 it froze twice on campaign and once in multiplayer. I expected freezes in mp since it happened in the demo as well. But didn't expect a freeze in campaign.

Holy shiznit... I'm playing through the Jazz and Cliffjumper parts right now. This is easily one of my favorite games of the year.

Man the more i play this MP the more i like it but at the same time, the more frustrated i grow. Some of these weapons just dont seem to do s**t for damage. I mean i do so little damage as an infiltrator that if i see anyone else thats not an infiltrator i turn around and run away. I dont feel im ever equipped to take down a tank or other larger sized enemy. But the style this game has is unmatched, it just looks so damn cool.

Yea this is easily one of the best licensed games iv played and I only got into Transformers when Bays first film came out.

So what Transformers are u guys using in the MP? are you creating ur own or using the orig characters? im actually using the actual characters. iv renamed each class as a particular character. im using Jazz, Optimus Prime, Brawl and Shockwave. Its pretty neat seeing characters like Optimus in "alternate" decepticon colors.

I enjoy creating characters in games, so I naturally liked customizing the different classes in MP. However, I wish there was a better way to customize the colors because I don't like all the color combinations and the shading.

I'm still trying to get a hang of MP but I've found myself using the Infiltrator and Scientist class the most with Titan in 3rd and Destroyer the least. CTS matches have gotten a bit frustrating since I'm usually the only Infiltrator or Scientist while everyone else picks Titans and hangs out back at the base to bombard anyone who tries to get our flag. And don't get me started with the Territories-type game, it's extremely frustrating.

I also rename the class to character names. I made a skywarp scientist. I don't just use the starscream look. I change the head and legs and shoulders. Flying around is so fun. Wish they had a map like in warhawk that was mostly made for flyers. They would need to add a turbo boost like the cars have in single player for a big map like that.

I was having trouble leveling my scientist in the demo. Now I have figured it out and top if not lead the matches most of the time. So here is some helpful tips

use the orbital gun it marks the target. But it also reduces their armor, just keep hitting them with it or switch to vehicle mode and rocket them. Mark everyone you can. If yor teammate kills the enemy you get the assist. It's the only weapon I use in robot mode. Also check the health bars when someone needs a heal just fly there and heal them. You get all kinds of xp and bonuses for healing. Also when an opponent is a vehicle you can switch to vehicle mode and lock on to the enemy from high above with little risk. Now the easiest thing is when your team stays grouped together. Just hit heal and use your orbital gun to mark whoever approaches. Or if your team splits up just fly around dishing out heals and every now and then stay by one person help them attack.

You can also go by yourself and attack like with any other class. The orbital gun does kill. The more you hit the enemy the more their armor reduces. Also when fighting one on one don't just stand there and fire. Jump use L2 to move side to side. A moving target is always more harder to hit.

Between marking and healing everyone you will often have more points then kills.
