Optimus is all beat up looking and then when he transforms into his alternative mode he's going to be a brand new shinny truck, WTF?

Now that Megatron is a tank instead of a jet, how the heck is he going to end up in Egypt? I can see the autobots being transported by NEST.

Optimus can regenerate his auto body parts/frame to a certain extent. It's all just superficial disposable skin/material to him that he doesn' really need but sure looks better with it.
