Sounds awesome. 8 player matches don't sound bad. It works for Ghostbusters and thats only 4 per match.

But thats because there is only 4 Ghostbusters, 5 if ya count the Rookie.

Anyway, i was lucky enough to find the last used copy of this game in my area. Buying used is far better than renting anyway, cuz if i absolutely hate the game, im not out of any money. Im installing the game to my brand new 120gig HDD as i type, cant wait to try this out. From what Nathan has stated, the MP sounds pretty damn good.

True, but Ghostbusters isnt really a competitive MP game, that was just a bad example. A good example would of been Gears of War. That was only 4 on 4 but is one of the top MP games this gen. I got what u were saying tho.

So far im enjoying the game. Im only like 30 minutes in. The controls werent nearly as diffucult to learn as some reviews have stated. Im gonna play a little more SP before i try some of that MP.

There's a little learning curve, but after a while you pull off some crazy stunts. And I don't really mind the fact that you have to hold the button when you transform. I like that the moment I press the button, I immediately haul ass.

I just got done playing my first MP match. My team was f'ing terrible. I was the only one with any damn kills and that coupled with the fact that the other team was nasty resulted in a pretty crappy first outing. One dude was like 12/1 with another 9/0

I know what that's like. I got in a couple matches that were simply terrible. I felt like I was the only one driving/flying around the damned map and actually trying to attack the enemy. And sometimes it's the other way around and we simply obliterate the other team. But I had my fair share of even matches that were really fun.

And what was nasty about the opposing team? I fought a team once that had 3 Bumblebees. Missiles everywhere...

Non-Movie are Breakaway, Arialbot and Protectorbot for the Autobots, Seeker and Scrapper for the Decepticons I think.

I say 'nasty' in terms of the other teams skill. They were wiping the floor with us but i think it had more to do with my team mates sucking. Also, i haven't heard anyone communicating. Thats a trend iv been noticing more and more on Live and a trend that needs to be reversed. Maybe add some 'mic only' options in games.

I've only seen a few guys with mics. But they rarely said anything, then there were kids that were wondering why they kept dying and lots of gibberish. So without communication, I just try to do the simple things. Stay with the team and give back up fire.

Haha, the exact same thing just happened to me. I think the game is pretty fun but the community sucks. This game would be a blast if i could get 7 other friends on it.

Ironhide and Bumblebee are the Autobots i roll with and Grindor and Starscream are the Decepticons i use the most frequently.

Word needs to get around that the game has a great Multiplayer. It's fun, but the community is ass. Too many peope logging out all the time.

Hell yea man. There is some really fun gameplay here, but i cant find a decent match.

Had some great matches for the last 2 hours. It was almost always full all the time and had a core group of 3-4 people that stayed.

From this day forward, I shall be known as beast. That's what I've been called today after a winning streak of 21 kills and 0 losses in the last match.

thinking of possibly taking this back(i bought it used). I mean the MP is good fun, but i cant find any decent matches. Either everyone quits or i just cant find ppl to play with outside of TDM and DM.

Yea and im guilty of doing that sometimes, altho most of the time i try to leave the party if others are talking within the game that im playing. I did play a few good rounds with a full room tho, but of course, once we started winning, some punk from the other team quits.

Yea, id love for some more maps. As for the characters, i dont care who they give us. I primarily use just Ironhide and Grindor.

I'm usually in a party too. I'll get this game when it goes down in price. Looks like a semi-easy 1k & it looks way better than the first Transformers game.
