But it's something everyone should have expected at this point.
If someone's really going through another endless tirade about why a Transformers film sucks, I honestly pity them.
A big budget action movie with bad characters, action, comedy and marginalized Decepticon and Autobot characters who lack agencies and well defined personalities of their own?I think he is saying you should know what to expect before going into a Bay directed TF movie.
The half hour IMAX sneak preview was also very messy and disjointed.

This guy gets it. Acting like it's a big deal when it doesn't turn out different from the others is a moronic notion, regardless of opinion.

Are you saying it's the fans' fault for being upset with a movie? If a movie turns out bad it's always the filmmakers' fault, the audience has every right to want and expect a well put together film; and to be disappointed if they don't feel they got it. Four wrongs don't make a right.
Please tell me where in my post did I say that it was the fans' fault for the movie failing. Nowhere did I even imply such a thing.
Fans have the right to be upset, but not to such a big level where it de-evolves into ranting. Seriously, take a look at the TFW2005 movie boards. They're reactions are complete and utter hyperbole, and the movie's not even out yet.
You can dislike the same repackage all you want, but if you get to the same level of upset you did when you had that first package, that's on you for expecting anything remotely different. Doesn't mean the movie sucks any less, just that expectations shouldn't be any different this go around.
Some spoilers from an early screening have been slowly leaking out, it sounds like there's some pretty crazy stuff in there.
I'm not saying they shouldn't be upset. Please re-read my post. You're gravely misunderstanding my point.
And sorry, but when you get to the point when you're incoherently rambling about any movie to the point where you're acting like a petulant child, anyone's right to rant should be rendered mute when said opinion can't be taken seriously.
I don't have any issue with the critic reviews so far, because they're actually constructive. From what I've seen of a good portion of fans though, I still think such a high level of hatred from them is not earned to something, again, that has basically the same flaws as the other films.
And it's not like I don't understand. I know everyone wants a good Transformers movie, I get that. But everyone should know the drill at this point. If a Transformers movie comes out and is still directed by Michael Bay, they at least have to know what to expect. Doesn't mean they shouldn't complain about it, but having that mindset of "it's gonna be the same thing again" isn't necessarily a bad thing. The best thing we can expect at this point is for this to actually be Bay's last TF film.
But you know how he pulled that card in the past.

So just like the last three sequels?![]()
Who's voicing Megatron? I heard rumblings it was Welker.
