The Last Knight Transformers:The Last Knight Official Thread

The bio that came out for Dreadbot is ridiculous. Why the hell would a giant alien robot need to rob a bank?! :funny:

Suicide Deceptisquad.

What are we, some kind of Decepticons or something? :o

Even they don't know.

I just want to know if this film has a scene where a Transformer shoots a vagina while saying "you're too disgusting to live" like in AOE :o

lol, i never noticed that until now.

Does anyone know what this huge end credit scene is? I'd really appreciate a PM or posting a reply here in spoiler tags.

Disregarding Starscream, it's still sort of an improvement. :hehe:

Don't know, but people are being really secretive about it as it if it were this huge mindblowing thing.

After reading a lot of spoilers, I think I know who it might entail.

I know who it better entail considering who we should have gotten in this movie.

So, some major spoilers ahead. To the few of you who don't want to know some of the main essentials of what happens in this movie, don't read what's below. (if spoilers are not allowed to be posted yet, let me know so I can edit this post)

- Earth is Unicron, or vice-versa, just as in Transformers: Prime. The horn-like structures we saw in some trailer shots are indeed what you thought they were. He's talked about by Anthony Hopkins' character and pretty much teased to be the main villain in TF6. His robot form is also apparently shown in a painting or something.

- The end credits scene is Quintessa (having survived the whole ordeal, a first for a main Transformers villain other than Megatron) disguised as a human (Gemma Chan herself) talking with a worker near the site of one of Unicron's horns, and it's implied she intends to ressuscitate Unicron.

- Cade is the titular Last Knight. Yep, can't take this seriously either.

- The festering dead planet we've seen in the trailer is indeed what's left of Cybertron.

- Apparently there's a Suicide Squad-esque style breakout scene with the imprisoned 'Cons. Don't know what to make of this yet.

- All 'Cons apparently kick the bucket except for Megatron (no surprise there) and Barricade who does his usual schtik of disappearing from these movies. :funny:

- No Autobots die except for Canopy, who's death scene was already shown in the promos.

- Prime is broken free from his mind control when Bee regains his actual voice and calls out to him.

There's a heck of a lot more, but these seemed to be the most important ones to me.

That's it??? People on the TFW boards were speculating some crossover end-credit scene with GI Joe.

That's the first I'm hearing of it, and I've been lurking those forums for days now.

Someone over at TFW is claiming that...

Optimus Prime is NOT really reprogrammed by Quintessa, he simply snaps and tries to destroy Earth after he sees that Cybertron has been ruined.

Yeah...

Hopefully whoever said that is either lying or misunderstood the movie, because if it's true this alone is enough to make me not watch the movie.

The credits scene actually sounds pretty cool, although I don't know why people over at TFW were so hesitant post it, the description leaked out days ago. Unless there's more to it.

Other spoilers I've come across:

No explanation given for Bee being able to rebuild himself.

Two of the Wreckers (Nascars from DOTM) appear in Cuba with Simmons.

No Cybertron flashback (even though it was promised back in December)

Bee gets a new voicebox from the junk truck robot (whose name is "Daytrader"), it sounds like Izzy installs it, and his real voice doesn't work until the battle with Optimus.

No explanation for Galvatron being Megatron again.

Quintessa is NOT a member of the "Creators", but is a Prime herself. She is Optimus' sister. (???)

Keep in mind these were posted by people on TFW who may or may not have even seen the movie, or understood it correctly.

One very major spoiler I read is that

Unicron is actually Earth
.

If that is true, then this crosses the line, even for this franchise.

To be fair this has been done in other incarnations of Transformers,
namely Transformers Prime. My problem with it is that it sort of limits the character, because obviously they're not going to destroy the entire Earth so Unicron can escape, meaning he has to stay more-or-less confined. Hopefully they haven't backed themselves into a corner with the villain everyone's been hyped for.

When does the embargo lift for this thing?
I just wanna see what the general reaction to the movie is. I tried watching the last one but i just couldn't watch it anymore after a certain point. It was so bad and i couldn't take it anymore.

Yeah, they've basically taken bits and pieces from various past media and spliced it into ths franchise, and it don't always work because it contradicts.

I forgot this comes out Wednesday as opposed to Friday, so I'll be taking my two hour lunch to go see it. Two hours and some odd minutes I mean....:o

Yeah? Like those odd minutes being almost an extra hour :D

I am seeing it on Thursday with a friend, who is a big fan of the franchise.

As for me, loved the 1st one (I was 14), really liked the 2nd one (now think it is crap), find the 3rd one boring until the final act and found some parts of AOE enjoyable.

After AOE, I had sworn I wouldn't go see another TF film, but hey, it's got CGI, explosions and strong technical design. It's the right form of escapism when you don't know what else to go watch.

That is my only gripe with these things, is that Bay doesn't know quite when to end it. After like two hours and 10 minutes you're like, "well they should be wrapping up the final battle soon, then its another half hour of ********.

you can hear him in this extended clip. Although his voice at the end sounds different.

why is he freaking french?!

Also, Cade being the Last Knight was revealed in the IMAX Sneak Peek. What is the significance of the Athurian Legend and Transformer scenes? Why are those even a part of the story?

You do know Transformers: Prime did this plotline, right?
