I wonder how you stop it from just being avengers infinity war II.

Add new characters maybe? I feel like thanos is complete for now

They'll keep the title a secret until the teaser trailer.

It shows how the world/characters has been after the events of IW, then it slowly builds up with Tony's plan with the OG Avengers, Ant-Man, Rocket and Nebula, teasing the time travel elements then the Avengers theme blares and the Avengers logo appears with Forever revealed underneath it.

I have to say it, but... Avengers: Secret Wars has a nice ring to it, and it could be appropriate if the next film is about the Avengers waging a secret war against Thanos. The only down side is that it would probably annoy fans if they chose that title without it involving the story in the books.

That or Avengers Forever (possibly stylized Avengers 4Ever or something). I just quickly read the plot summary for the comic series Avengers Forever and it really seems to line up with the leaked set photos we have seen.

It's a story about a team of past, present, and future Avengers being pulled together to stop a threat involving a weapon that can control reality... Based on the set photos we have seen, there appears to be time travel involved in Avengers 4 and it appears to involve bringing together Avengers from different era. We have seen past Cap, future Tony, and present Ant-Man.

The title also makes a ton of thematic sense as the end of Phase 3 and the swan song for the original team of Avengers.

...so the Russo Brothers said that Infinity War would pretty much give the sequel title away or something? Uhh no. We're still none-the-wiser it would seem, so what gives? More evasion on their part (not that I blame them of course).

Infinity Gauntlet would seem the logical(?) choice, I can't honestly think what else it would be - it isn't likely going to be Secret Wars or anything like that though!

I don't see where everyone is going with this Secret War business. The sequel is still going to have a Thanos deal, and it'll be no secret (to anyone) what the remaining Avengers are up too, nor will there likely be a war.

I'm expecting the sequel to be more about adventure than conflict.

Avengers Forever seems the likeliest bet at this point. It is not a "spoiler" at first look but obviously for the geeks and the movie sites, it won't be hard to figure out the plot from that title, so in that sense, everything Feige, Russos and M&M have been saying about this title will make sense.

Except that 'Avengers Forever' seems a bit... meh. There's no Wow Factor.
