Twerk Up a Lounge and Get Your Legs on Fire

Started a new job and I hate it. It's much worse than my old job, which I stupidly quit after 4 years when I got bored even though I liked it. Big mistake. I don't want to get into details (not even my profession, but some of you know) because it's kind of personal and I'm not sure if they can check my Internet history, but I'm really conflicted. I need money really badly and it's a tough job market. I pounded the pavement for 3 months and turned down a couple positions, because I thought this was my best offer. But I honestly dread each day and I don't know how much I can take. I'm also told it's a sought after job, even though I can't understand why for the life of me. Jobs I held in the beginning of my career six years ago were more rewarding and interesting. In my mind, the only thing acceptable about it are the wages, which are on par or slightly less than my old job.

I've been there a week and I signed a year-long contract, but I think it will be a struggle to last through Christmas. Any suggestions for enduring a nightmare job?

(As for my old job, the position is filled and they're not currently hiring, so no dice here)

I wish you the best man, good luck in finding a new job you'll like & be comfortable in. :yay:

Foreign country and a work visa makes it harder. Glad I never had those added complications to my most hated job.

That was pretty cool.

I was at Half Priced Books a few weeks ago and found 2 CDs of a Christian Band that I loved during my late teens-early twentys. The group was called Raze. I bought the CDs and enjoyed them just as much now as I did then. I knew the group disbanded after a scandal involving the lead singer broke, but I always felt for the guy because he handled it very classy and willingly accepted his punishment. So I looked him up and saw that he did his time and has a family now. I decided to send him a message on Twitter (which I seldom use) and let him know I appreciated his music and that it still blesses me despite what had happened. He replied today, thanking me, and told me he's checking out my books and would like to stay in touch.

I'm kinda stoked about that!

So sad, Aziz never saw Army of Darkness.

If we're going to have another "Twerk" title can it be spelt "Twoik" pls?

Twerking needs to die. I should be all "Love & Tolerance", but screw that. Down with the Twerk!

It's Fluttershy! :argh: And no, I have to draw the line somewhere. And I draw it at twerking.
