I just watched it, I am coming at this purely from a movie stand point as i have never read the books, but i think it looks good, the shades used in the films colour palette really work to create a sense of mood and I like the feel of the locations it is set in, the acting seems fine to me and the guy and Kristen Stewart seem at ease together, great choice of music for the trailer as well.

lol this movie looks horribly low budget... this is the trailer that shouldve proved me wrong, and didnt.

Anyway, caught this on youtube somehow. I like the cinematography of the film, especially in the first half. The tone actually felt good. But it completely fell apart from me once the terrible dialog (were these in the book?) and poorly choreographed fight scenes showed up.

Only way I'm seeing this is if it gets some good reviews and people recommend it.

one thing i really liked was the cinematography. Yeah the most of the dialogue came straight from the book, but they changed one or two of them up a bit. It has a romance, of course there is gonna be some cheesy dialogue here and there.

Most fans say it's a "guilty pleasure" book, so some melodramatic dialogue is to expected. I though the Bella/Edward dynamic looked like it works with the 2 leads.

I love ONTD. Their commentary on the production of this movie has been hilarious.

Even though I love the twilight series I do get a kick out of their hate for it. The gifs they make

No, but it'll look like a cheap imitation of asian martial arts, I'm sure. DB will have even more "flying" and wire stunts. Trailer doesn't look promising from what little we saw.

Anyway, I'm a bit sick of the "leap" vampire attack. I much prefer the Haste of Trinity Blood's Methuselah (Examples 1 (0:07) and 2 (0:15)). At least that looks threatening (those attacks look like a joke from my PoV).
