Looks like it'll definitely have winds to carry it through the weeks to come, which is nice for a legacy sequel that's well-received. While Deadpool 3 will no doubt be at the top of the box office next week, I would not be surprised to see Twisters to have a strong hold.

I was just thinking about Volcano when people were talking about possible sequels. That first movie scared and to an extent still does scare the crap out of me at times! You could call it 'Volcanoes.'

Eh, you get used to them. You just pray an F2/3/4/5 doesn't go near your neighborhood.

My place got rocked with a low-level tornado a few years ago, my house was fine but a couple of houses down the road were hit and one of their roofs was practically ripped off.

Gotta say. I think I like this better than the first. I'm always gonna root for Anthony Ramos, I think Daisy is a good lead, and man do I hope Glen Powell doesn't turn out to be an SOB or got skeletons in his closet because dangit, I like the dude.

However the best thing I could say about this film is, for a summer blockbuster it knows when to have restraint, and I ended up appreciating it a lot in the end than if it didn't have it.

I knew not to expect Helen Hunt but I did miss her in some way. If they make a sequel, there's absolutely room to bring her in now that the young cast has been developed. Considering Dorothy was in the prologue, they can pull off that Helen Hunt's character was probably Kate's college professor or something, and boom you create that immediate connection and it makes sense why she'd be along for the ride.

What a fun movie, I enjoyed it way more than the first one. 4DX definitely enhanced the experience. The " we got twins!" guy was my favorite character.

Jurassic World was a standalone sequel with the none of the original main cast, and then they brought Jeff Godlblum in for a cameo in Fallen Kingdom and then the original trio for Dominion, so I could see them doing the same here for a potential sequel.
