UK rating confirmed (sorry 17 year olds)

Excellent! I'll be 18 in June. What's 18's in the UK is usually 15's or 17's in Ireland.

For a country that's so liberal with sex in the media, you guys sure have strict laws regarding 18 rated movies. I mean, NOBODY under the age of 18 can see them, even with a parent or guardian? Come on.

Yeah well its cool I was watching 18 movies from the age of 14 haha, If i remember right Blade 1 was the first 18 I ever watched at the cinema!

18 does sound a bit high though, i cant think of anything In the GN that would require it to be that rating, I would have said 15!

Yeah, well I consider it to be strange that drinking laws in the US state you have to be 21 if I remember correctly?

My 11 year old cousin wants to see this. Oh well, we will sneak him in just like we did with Cloverfield.

casius J, I LOVE your avvy... fonejacker absolutely rocks! George with 50,000 Ugandan dollaahs! hahahaha

Nothing about this rating, but is rated R films 17 years and older or 18?

Rated R in the US is 17 and above, but I think they change this.

If they changed this, I'll be disapointedd cause this would have been my first "R" movie that I would have gone without a guardian.

I forsee a lot of mustachioed 17 year olds on each others shoulders.

Damn I'm going to be 17 in April! I don't really want to go with a parent. It will be kinda embaressing sitting next to my mom and brother.

I've never had an issue with sitting with parents.

Because we teens are morons when it comes to drinking.

I hate going to "rated R" movies with my brother/sister, especially the ones with sex in it. It gets uncomfortable..:whatever:

I wouldn't trust imdb, I'll tell you for sure when its on the cinemas website though. It's usually a rating or two below UK. Either way, they're not strict here :D

for any 17 year old male that want to see this movie, grow a beard or a mustache
it worked for me 2 years ago

Its just sex. It doesnt bother me anymore. Its a natural thing....you wouldnt be here if it wasnt for sex.

I know but it makes me feel weird, especially with my parents around.. but moving on..

I have a moustache and some chin hairs, can that get me in :p

and you need to look like 18+
i suggest wear sunglasses

If you do show up by yourself I suspect you would need to see identification.

This sucked. When I saw Body of Lies we thought to get into a R film you needed to have at least one person over 18 to accompany you. We had a b-day party going to see it and my freind just brought his dad. Turns out, you needed the actual parents of the people under 17 there with you. That's freaking ********. I din't see why not when you have another adult who is more than enough responsible in the first place.
