UK UFO Sighting last night.... Opinion?

Right folks, just got word that last night a friend of mine saw bright lights hovering above where she lives ( Telford, shropshire, uk)..
She called her local radio station and they had recieved similar reports...
Here's what has appeared so far on the radio station website

I've put the pics through photoshop, to brighten them a little and to alter the contrast and stuff..
What do you folks think these lights are?

who knows. Dont look like weather balloons. Whatever it is i dont think its gonna be to easy to explain because we really dont know what it is unless they were to stick around long enough to be more closely investigated.

.......Typical triangle pattern on the left one. But the triangle pattern is more commonly seen around Area 51 I believe. Perhaps technology has been sold....

It's a group hang gliding at night using flares attached to their hang gliders.

Those lights were just weather balloons reflecting swamp gas drifting into the stratosphere...there are no such things as UFOs, or aliens...Have a nice day
