I LOVE Ultimate Human, if all of the Ultimate books were like that then the Ultimate Universe would still be on top i think. That book is a perfect example of what the Ult. universe should be.

I wish everyone would agree on the damn costumes. Loeb is under the strange idea that Ultimate Iron Mans suit is just the 616 Iron man suit. No one can seem to agree on how much of a mask Hawkeyes costume covers.

Anyway there is a huge disparity between Ultimate Avengers and The Ultimates. One comic seems to work while the order falls on its face.

Well you have to remember that New Ultimates is 8 months after Ultimatum. Wheres Ultimate Avengers is 3 weeks.

No I think it's pretty much a sure thing. Here's my thoughts on a recent GN i read:
Ultimate Galactus Trilogy: Now this is what i'm talking about! Warren Ellis (along with Millar writing Vision) giving an epic story that could be titled as Ultimates 1.5 kind of! It happens before Ultimates 2 giving a galactic threat when Gah Lak Tus is about to enter Earth! Ultimate Sam Wilson, Marh Vell and Silver Surfer make their appearance! The art from Trevor Hairsine, Steve Mcniven, John Romita Jr, Brandon Peterson give stunning fluid combat from failed russian-super soldiers to the Galaktus Heralds! Great story with great writing, nice tibdits to Klaatu and other sci-fi pop culture references hehe. Really enjoyable and worth a re-read easily!

Really you guys should check it out. Its really like an pre-Ultimatum Ultimates story worth the read. Really i can't express how much i enjoyed this!

Cyclops is dead, sadly. Ultimate Avengers is a black ops style Heroes vs. Villains book. Red Skull is the enemy of the 1st arc and we're introduced to the newer cast. War Machine, Red Wasp, Nerd Hulk, Miss Chang (Nick Fury's ex-wife) the new Black Widow, Gregory Stark (Tony's brother) and so forth.

It's like a 6 issue event story from one to another. Full of action and drama with the introduction of new characters it might start off slow at first, but i'd say this is Millar's finest stuff right now. It's action packed and awesome! Captain America is the badass in this 1st arc easily.

Anyhow news from Comic con:

The fan that came after this said he wanted to know more about “Ultimate Comics Spider-Man.” Luckily, Bendis had news on that front as well. He said that in the upcoming issue #9, the government comes to Peter’s high school to take Kitty away as part of the mutant registration going on in the Ultimate Marvel Universe. In addition, an “Ultimate Chameleon-like character” comes and pretty much destroys Peter’s life. And if all that weren’t enough, Bendis said he’s written the scene fans have been waiting for: Peter gets a haircut!

Ultimate Avengers is actually quite good. And I don't think it reads like Millar's usual stiff either.

New Ultimates is ok, just with Ultimate Cage didn't look just like 616 Stonewall.

Care to spill what happens thruouth that issue? Is it the same plot? Ghost Rider is working for Satan or what? The 1st Avengers arc has been more or less old-school tribute with the Cosmic Cube and everything already, i wouldn't be surprised if Millar read this issue.
