Hope you guys can shed some light on these characters. The peeps over in the UXM thread can't figure it out. Personally I think it's Mimic, Jean, and Beak but I may be way off.

I always wondered was it ever officially answered whenever or not Sabretooth was Wolverine's son? It could be the possible-Mimic *is* Sabretooth's son and whatnot. I heard lolrumourslol that back when Michael Turner (may he rest in peace) was alive he had plans to do something with Ultimate Wolverine with Loeb, but hey who knows truly?

Eitherway the art does look delicious but hey it's a mystery story by Loeb and the book isn't carried with any famous comic book characters so yeah. ;( I mean i'll take a look if it gets good reviews but thats about it heh.

Have you read Ultimate Comics: Spider-Man? I liked how Kitty is taking the Mutant-powers-illegal thing personally.

yep yep I've really like what little Bendis has done with the mutant aspect and I really hope Loeb does something of value with it.

No, the flame chick is obviously Ultimate Firestar aka Liz Allen from when she crossed over from Ultimate Spider-Man after finding out she was a mutant.

no I wasen't thinking about that shadowed figure. That is def Liz Allen. I was thinking the black haired chick. I've already said that she looks alot like Jean. Maybe this could be Ult Madalyn Prior.

So for the last week I saw that cover and thought, "Hey, maybe this comic will be worth picking up." Now I see Hulk is added. ... Needless to say, whatever thoughts I had before? Yeah, they're gone.

Well you could think of it this way:
Jean Grey = Dark Emo Girl
Beast = Hulk
Iceman = Fire chick (ah reverse roles!)
Cyclops = Snikbub Junior (team leader)
Angel = Ultimate Beak?

If it's intended to mimic the original X-Men setup it's a cool thing, but yeah i really wanna see some good reviews before even touching it. I mean i own Ultimates 3 out of Joe Mad's art being such a guilty pleasure!

eh after seeing yet another Hulk show up in the Ult universe (Isn't there like three now?) I'm losing interest in this real fast. Why to **** up yet again Loeb. Just ****ing retire and stop raping my fav universe.

You don't think thats Bruce Banner? I mean why else would Millar feel the need of creating Nerd Hulk or African American Hulk? I mean sure it has story potentials too but really i think one of the reasons is that Jeph Loeb wants to write Bruce-Hulk. I mean he had Bruce-Hulk **** Zarda and whatnot.

These are very personal stories. People who've read the scripts are surprised how different they are from my other work in the Ultimate Universe. My hope is the readers enjoy it as much as I have been.

I mean the idea does seem nice and fun, but then again then does the idea of flooding New York and having Magneto fight againts all the heroes. :P

I know right? How did Loeb screw that up? Magneto vs. the marvel heroes, i was so psyched about that and then....ugh. Fool me once, fool me twice, i'm not fallin for this one.

As long as LaFeute isn't drawing ANY Hulk again. Seriously. Hulk is musclular - not fat. Any five year old can draw overly muscular behemoths.

I have no idea why they decided to call it Avengers 2 and have #1 on it. =S Ah we'll find out sooner or later.

Maybe Millar is doing what he did last time where it went from Ultimates to Ultimates 2?

Just seems weird to do it after 6 issues, but hey easier to get the Tradepacks lol. I guess we'll get a double shipment in April if Carlos Pachero's #6 really is coming in April too. ;_;

I'm guessing we'll be seeing Punisher huh? Couldn't tell by that subtle cover. Looks cool and I'm digging that Millar is keeping with his style of splitting the arcs up into various vols. Hopefully this arc will be as good as the Red Skull arc.

Hmm Millar said that Leinil has drawn 4 (out of 6) issues already... Really hope we can get some double shipments due to Carlos Pachero delays. I mean not really *****ing at Pachero but i do hope the delayed #5 and #6 come with his best art he had in #1-3 because the inkists at #4 kinda made it not so great, but it was still very very very greatly drawn stuff.

Didn't Loeb work in Heroes tv show? I mean i already heard Ultimatum's Cyclops kill was like in Heroes (headshot sniper thing) and whatnot.

Also Millar said we might get 2 issues of Leinil's Ultimate Avengers 2 in April along with Ultimate Avengers 1 #6
