I don't have a problem with Spidey being on a team, as long as said team is composed of heroes who (like Spidey) are young heroes who can't join the Avengers or the FF. Spidey doesn't belong on the Avengers or FF. He belongs on a team like the New Warriors. The main problem I have with this new USM team is not that Spidey is on a team, but that Spidey and his team are working for SHIELD. IMO, Spidey and his team working for SHIELD is the stupidest OOC portrayal of Spidey that I have seen in a cartoon. A much better premise of this show would have been to have Spidey and his team working for Silver Sable as her freelance special Wild Pack unit.
I'm not crazy about Spider-man being part of a team. Granted, having him cooperate with Avengers or working with Shield, or even just forming a temporary alliance with some local heroes could result in some interesting story lines. But I hate the "justice league for kids" set up (don't turn it into Young Justice). I prefer a Spider-man who is a solo hero, who occasionally and temporarily teams up with other characters.

Although fourth wall breaking isn't Spidey's thing, I'll be okay with it, as long as it's funny. There are times when I hate when shows break the fourth wall. For example, I love Animaniacs, but there are times when they do it too much and it's not funny at all. Also, when they point out that something is a joke, it makes it not funny.
