Well, I saw the clip here at SHH. And it was cringe-inducing.

Pass.

Two episodes? Much like the premiere of TSSM animated series

New shots here and here and a new clip. Was a better clip than the first, I'll say that. Seems the Frightful Four are the villains in the first episode.

I like the pictures of Stan Lee as the janitor, that will be neat.

The more I hear of Drake Bell, the less I like him as Spider-Man. I was concerned about him when an interview from a while back gave the idea that he doesn't know much about Spider-Man. Maybe that makes me somewhat biased, but I really don't like his voice acting. The scene about Uncle Ben sounded REALLY forced, and I don't like how he announces the villains' names in this most recent clip. It sounds like he's trying too hard to sound like a superhero. He doesn't sound natural.

I'm glad they're using underused villains, but I hope they all aren't as lame as the Frightful Four. I see Tom Kenny is playing Doc Ock. I'm very concerned about that. In every role I've seen (well, heard) him in, I've been able to say "Yep. That's Tom Kenny." I don't want Doc Ock to be silly. I hope that Kenny can pull off nerdy as well as threatening like Peter MacNicol does in TSSM.

I like the zany visual humor. Teen Titans is my second-favorite superhero cartoon, right next to The Spectacular Spider-Man, so that sort of humor appeals to me. I liked the spider-sense alarm clock, and I laughed at the still on IGN.com of the devil and angel talking to Spidey on his shoulders.

I'm really confused (so far) about why they bothered calling this Ultimate Spider-Man, when right now it isn't looking much like the comic. Ah, well. I now have somewhat of an idea about what this show will be like, so I'm glad to be prepared.

I'm just waiting for when we can hear the intro theme song

Jumping over the table reminds me of SM2 when Pete jumped on MJ after sensing the car

Why is Thundra here? Isn't she one of the good guys?

When Pete was talking and all around him was grey, he reminded me of the Weekenders

Yarr, CBR has assembled brand new Ultimate Spidey clips! I love the Brave & Bold vibe they got going on. Disco dancing, Jetpacks, 4th wall breaking and other funness.

Man the more I see the more I fall in love with this show. This feels like such a breathe of fresh air when it comes to villains and presentation of narrative. Looks incredibly entertaining and I think it'll be quite successful.

The chibi dancing was awesome in that first clip and his realization of being tracked/traced in that last clip was really funny. The comedy is actually quit diverse and a hodgepodge of different styles in presenting this to its audience is definitely the way to go.

Can't wait until April 1st because I'm really enjoying this. Oh and seeing villains that aren't from Spideys typical rogues gallery is definitely a fine welcome.

"You don't have to thank me...but I would accept a jet-pack" lol

In those clips that have been released, I like
how (the) Trapster has stuck a tracer on Spidey, so the Frightful Four know he is a student at that school.
Just goes to show that the show has been more well-thought out than expected. That has Dini written all over it lol

Yeah I really liked that line. :funny:

I mean if you have SHIELD asking you to join and you're a teenager in highschool who wouldn't ask for a jetpack? Even if I had Spideys abilities I'd still try milking this giant organization with an unlimited amount of resources every now and then. A motorcycle and jetpack would be at the top of my list.

I completely agree with the Dini remark and how the good writing is definitely showing.

I especially like the scene where he was trying to figure out how the Frightful Four found him. And then moments later when he was getting dressed, he noticed a tracer in his armpit. lol Then he went on to say he still has much to learn about responsibility. Haha

Wow. After watching the short fight with the Trapster, I am really impressed with the animation. The movements are fast and fluid, and yet there's definitely a weight to the action. I really feel the impact when Spidey slams into the side of the building. Even the web shot that blocks the gun barrel has a force to it that I haven't really seen in Spidey cartoons thus far. TSSM didn't feel this weighted.

The cafeteria scene made me role my eyes. I can't picture high school students throwing food at supervillains who had just threatened them. Even for a cartoon, it's a bit much. Still, the flashback to the tracer is well-done. I'm starting to get really excited.

Man...I love the look and animation of the show, but the 4th wall jokes and the random 3rd wheel villains are really killing me. I'll still watch this show, but I am really finding it doubtful that I will love it. I might not even LIKE it.

Woah. It looks slick! I wonder if it will only be used to solve tactical problems for Spidey, or if the writers will also use it to explore Tony Stark's more questionable methods? I don't really see the latter happening, but it would be interesting to see.

That looks amazing, I love the suit and will look forward to seeing it on screen in a cartoon
