I'm not sure how you'd bring Fraser back into this unless he somehow was an immortal. I mean, otherwise, how would he still be alive?

I'd rather they bring Rachel Weisz back. Her character was supposed to be a reincarnation anyway so it would make more sense and she doesn't look all that different than she did back then.

I just preferred him is all. It would be just panic at this point bringing his character back. Maybe he became immortal somehow thru the Mummys curse. They should have cast him in Tom Cruises role.

I have not seen the film, but from what I have heard it appears the movie is more action than horror and having the Mummy display her powers. That seems more superhero IMO.

Should we forget? I can make that same argument about anyone famous. Do people forget about Bill Clinton's indescretion? Or Alec Baldwin's numerous times blowing up at the paparazzi on film? Or an abundance of others? Certain celebrities will be remembered for certain things & it will differ from person to person who gets remembred for what. For me, Tom just sticks in my head for being a man child jumping up & down on a couch.

look's like his grand mother which wise played. and seeing that family was destined to be fighting off that sort of thing all evil from ancient egypt it makes sense. they can do what was done with jeff bridges in the the recent tron movies where they pass the responsibility down to their kid's too. and show the orginal character a fair well while helping cruise's character.

you misssed what wwe said the page over hewas shown in acess holly wood oyes a tv screenn what he thought about tom being the lead before the movie came out and he was inthe netflix tv series the affair which as I said not alot of people are aware when another poster mentioned that part. . he's not ducking your just not aware of where he is even though certain place's put up where he's still shown often.

he was talking about his love life and he did this at the time people were starting to get all over him and john travolta about Scientology . which has be controversial since. and it was an excuce to show he was loosing his mind. again people just need on excuse you give to them they will use it if they don't like you and want to have reason to hate and don't have concrete reason to do so. once they get they hold onto it for life.

his divorce from Katie holm's mostlikely didn't help ether as they used those thing's bot the Scientology thing and him being nut from that chair thing on opera as link too as reason that happened. he has his kids already so I guess he's pretty much done with the marriage scene. if he does marry aagain it' just cause problems it seem's so he might take the same rout as Hallie barry and stop there. other people will be after him there too.

Actually that is the point. We are not arguing the severity of the deeds of people I mentioned and comparing them to Tommy Boy. My point in those examples are, certain famous or celebrity people , for whatever they did, large scale or not will be remebered differently by all of us in our own way.
For me , I always for some reason remember back to Tommy boy trying to sell his obvious fake love on Oprah's couch. [shrugs] That's all.
