Universal Orlando's Back to the Future ride to close after 15 years

That ride hurt my back a bit. But overall. It was awesome...

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! I love that ride!

The idiots at the California one shut down the E.T. ride, which snapped my heart in two.:cmad:
I don't know if they're the same, but the BTTF ride in California was inTENSE!:cmad:

I went to the back to the future ride when it was fairly new,I know when spielberg rode it when they made it and he loved it...it was the best ride there at the time.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

That was the best ride there.

Awww shame, it was a classic.

That ride was always worth the stand in line, unlike some others.
Uh, welcome to "Jurassic Park:The Ride" when I went to CAUS years ago.

We stood in freaking line for 2 hours, and they had machines that blew mist on you while in line.

I figured, "JP was an amazing movie. Spielberg would insist that the ride be so real and cool."

And I swear I've had more realistic moments of terror at the March of Dimes Haunted HOUSE.:down

Gyp of the decade....that decade....for me.
The muggy/sometimes cool mist in line was the best part of the "ride".

GAWD.

It is a sad day :( They should redo it, or put something better in, but how can you top that? They are slowly getting rid of all the Universal classics... Next will probably be Earthquake, ET, and then Jaws. We'll get a turd like MIB in return.

Let me tell you how much we all loved it.

The first time you go on, they ask you your name.
So all of us wise-asses gave funny fake names.

Once we got to the end, and there was ET, saying our names (the ones we'd given).....I was there with some "too-cool-for-school" L.A.-Rockers known as The Flys, and all these hot chicks.

We all got out of the ride, got right back in line, and every single one of us, when they asked for our names, gave our real names, 'cause we wanted to hear ET "really" talking to us.

And the bastards shut it down.
