Now this I can actually see happening. Usagi Yojimbo is a popular character in his own right and we all know that he has a long history with the TMNT (both animated series and the Mirage comics). How would you work Usagi into a TMNT film sequel?

That is not a bad idea. Having Usagi in the movie would be kick ass. But, The story would have to be taking place in the Battle Nexus Tournament or, some thing better. As a matter of fact, Usagi Yojimbo should have his own movie. Now that would be raw.

HELL yes. Usagi would be the perfect onepup a sequel needs. (And he's just damn cool, besides)

And completely agree with cinquan about UY having his own movie.

agreed, usagi has enough history and character to carry a sequel in my opinion

Usagu deserves his own film in the line of 300 and Sin City. Imagine puppetry with digital back grounds like those movies, and a deep samurai stroryline

I've been thinking that, yes, the sequel definitely deserves Usagi.

The sequel could use Usagi, but it doesnt deserve him.

A Usagi movie could be good, but I wouldnt want him running around through the new TMNT movies' bad character designs and monkey ******ed plot.

It would be good excuse to do a Battle Nexus movie.

yes make the tmnt not look like celbrity impersonators of the annoying thing
and bring on miamato usagi STAT:ninja:

I really liked the character designs for the new movie. Usagi would be awsome to have in the movie, the question though is how do you incorperate him? After all it seems people aren't happy with "space moster" storyline of the new movie.

That'd be kind of cool to see Usagi. I could see the Foot lying to him about the Turtles being bad and using him for their own purposes to kill the Turtles. Then, we could get a kick-ass katana fight between Leo and Usagi that'd mimic or kicked the rain sequence's ass in 'TMNT.'

I would much more want to see Shreder, but I guess Usagi would do.

Problem is what's Usagi suppose to be in the movie? Another mutant? Or from another dimension? If it's the latter, isn't it to far-fetched to be incorporated in the movie's universe?

Considering we saw all kinds of monsters from another dimension in TMNT, as well as Stone Warriors, I wouldnt think it would be too far fetched to include Usagi in a sequel. The latest Turtles film incorporated many more fantastical elements that was seen in the comics, into the film universe (which was previously more grounded I suppose). As there was even a quick cameo of a Triceraton in TMNT, even if it was in stone form inserted into the background of Max Winter's office. ;)

They would do the another dimension "just because" I think.

Usagi is from a alternate universe, why can't it be like that in the movies? they got doorways to montser laden universes so why not Usagi's world? Maybe they cna get sucked to Usagi's world...OMG it would be a TMNT/Usagi fan's dream...well, me anyways. I'd like to see the guys incorporated into one of Stan's awesome stories....Grasscutter. ooooooooooooooooo ^.^
