Vanilla Ice discusses "Ninja Rap" and how he "made it ice"

I remember that scene all too well; Vanilla Ice was one of those musicians who just disappeared. The first Austin Powers film even lampooned his career, showing him "on ice" (how fitting) in the cryogenics lab.

Back when it happened I thought it was the coolest thing.

I asked Munroe if we would hear Go Ninja Go or the classic theme song in the movie.

He didn't really answer but was negative toward Go Ninja Go.

The moment Ice started bobbing his head to Ninja Rap in the film...

The phones stopped ringing.

We all loved Ninja Rap back in da day. Now, we look back and are ashamed to admit it.

...I NEVER enjoyed Ninja Rap!

...Maybe a little.

Ninja, ninja....RAP!

I still listen to it. Nostalgia rules.

That sums it up pretty nicely.

Oh this was my heat when I was a kid. As cheesy as it is...it still rules!!!

V-Ice has actually recorded a new version of it on his last album, ala his new version of Ice Ice Baby (Too Cold)...it's you know...hardcore rap-rock now :o

Used to love the song back in the day and amazingly still know the lyrics.
