Vegan Couple Kills Baby By Malnourishment

double cheeseburgers are better and cheaper

Agreed. Though I've recently taken a fancy for Wendy's's (hehe) 1.99 triple-stacker, even though it's hella tiny. I also love their 1.99 root beer floats. Anyone else notice the ice cream at Wendy's is always bigger than their meals?

Why didn't she breast feed the baby? Don't tell me veganism has anything to do with that!

To the person who said titty milk isnt an animal product...yes it is, humans are animal (some people dont like saying that but its true). But honestly its a really stupid reason to cut your kid from breastmilk...The thing is basically a parasite in your body so I dont see the big deal of giving him a few gulps from the jugs......okay, Im gonna stop talking about boobs and breastmilk now :o

vegans shouldnt be allowed to breed. darwinism folks.

actually, some of those kids may develop diabetes.
some of them heart disease amongst a wealth of **** that can happen to them.
all I'm saying is that's irresponsibility nonetheless, it's just that these people kill their kids a lot slower.:o
is it criminal?
I really don't know....I've met some truly dumb people in my life, I don't think they should be in prison, I don't think that benefits anyone.

I definitely said that the kids could develop health problems, but diabetes is not quite comparable to death. Obesity is a huge (pardon the pun) problem, for sure. But this is just flat out neglect.

I'd say letting your kid become morbidly obese is neglect too. Also there's a reason the term morbid is included with those cases because the kid is gonna die because of their weight. Also the kid might be better off dying at such a young age, instead of having to pay for all the costly doctor's visits and getting various limbs amputated due to diabetes and not being able to walk down the street without getting winded.

How many times do I have to say that letting your child become morbidly obese is not OK? I'm not defending parents who let their children become morbidly obese. Jesus Christ. I'm just saying that this particular case is worse because the child was deprived of nutrition and actually died. Obesity is a huge problem and it has a good chance at killing you, but severe enough malnourishment over a prolonged period WILL kill you. You can be morbidly obese and live, provided you don't stay that way for too long, but like I said, you can't shake off a bad case of deadness.

That's the absolute worst and dumbest thing I've ever read.

^ I didn't say it . . . TOOL did :o the point is, plants aren't alive and aware in the same sense . . . and plants feed off other plant life (for the most part), most animals eat other animals . . . it's the ciiiiircle of liiiiiiife *lion king* :D

She should've breast fed.

"Save a life. Give some titty."

anyway, I'm not trying to bash vegans or anything, like Mr. Sparkle said, the real enemy here is stupidity, not the fact they were Vegans . . . a growing child can't survive on raw vegetation . . . they need protein and other nutrients to grow . . . the parents should have raised their baby as any other newborn . . . instead of trying to predispose it to being pretentious a$$hole :o

seriously . . . if they're Vegan, whether titty milk is an animal bi-product or not. . . . They should be confident enough in their Vegan-inity to trust the milk of the Vegan titty . . . . Johnny Cockran and got SH1T on me!! :o

I'd rather have this

over this

or better yet, I'd replace the meat with a grilled zucchini and mushrooms

although I am a vegetarian, and trying to become a vegan, I still think that it was very stupid from them not to breast feed their kid

do they deserve life in jail? as much as the parents that allow their children to die due to religious reasons

ignorance and faulty information is good enough reason for punishment, but the guilt, will be there all the time

They are alive in the same sense. Their cells are carrying out similar processes, only they're capable of synthesizing organic compounds for food whereas we are not. Just because they're not aware like we are doesn't make them any less alive.

Also, plants feed off of whatever nutrients are provided to them from the soil. If you want to get technical, much of the Nitrogen that plants take in is recycled from both plant and animals, and goes through processes via bacteria to make it a viable nutrient (in the form of nitrate).

:cmad:

the proteins can be found in many vegetables and legumes (such as soy, wheat, etc)

if you would just listen to the goddamn song, you wouldn't argue . . . I'm not really trying to argue on a chemical or biological process level . . . people need protein in more abundance and different forms than plants . . . people move around and shyt . . . plants just sit there . . .

fact: vegetarians and vegans have a much lower tendency to suffer from colon cancer, and many other illnesses
