Victoria's Secret show canned after outrage

Before anyone goes all: "eVEryOne iS tOo sENsitive"
Read the article. The title is clickbait.

Ratings of the show have been steadily going down, sales have been going down, higher ups at the parent company have been tied to Jeffrey Epstein. But if you do need your outrage boogeyman apparently someone at VS said there is no room on the runway for plus size or transgender models. So you have that.

Besides it's not like anyone on here particularly cares about the show I'm sure

Yes, I'm bad. :o

One of the signs of the end of the world is when boobs are no longer profitable.

I think it's more that women aren't buying into VS's image anymore. The models have bodies that are ridiculously unobtainable and women are looking for something more realistic. Fenty by Rihanna is more celebrated now.

Boobs will never go out of fashion...we just see some in pron easily now. Anyone with a smart phone can see stuff easily. Same reason Hooters and Playboy was/is suffering. Why go to Hooters or Playboy for them?

This is a fun thread.

I know.....I was making a joke.

Yeah, but to get porn these days, you have to embarrass yourself by going to the top shelf at 7-11 or to the beaded curtain at the back of Video-Mania. It's not like you can obtain images of naked women via any kind worldwide computer network accessible by a common electronic device.

Hmm. Even though I didn't watch an entire show of it, it seemed like an event for the people who are really into high profile models/fashion. Also in the last decade, record labels sent their artists to the show to promote their music as well. I still remember the Spice Girls performing there.

I don't think they should think ax it, like if its a money thing, then they could make the show smaller. There's lots of fashion shows out there that don't necessarily need high/expensive production value (like fancy sets/lighting). Their shows back in the 90s were quite simple, so maybe they should go back to that. And I'm sure, there's gonna be a cable network that would like to air it or, stream it online, instead of justnothing.

What does it even mean? Those women are flawless. Too skinny and "unreal" for me but... hey, I'm not into them :P but guys do.

(...)Shanina Shaik leaked the news to the Daily Telegraph in July.

“Unfortunately the Victoria’s Secret show won’t be happening this year,” she said. “It’s something I’m not used to because every year around this time I’m training like an Angel.
