Legends of Tomorrow Villain predictions?

So we know there's a big bad for season one that's a big enough threat to make the Rogues play nice with a proto JSA/JLA... the question is, who?

Darkseid is probably off limits considering the film franchise, so...

Vandal Savage? Mongol? The Cluemaster (lol)?

Vandal Savage would work as a main villain down the line.
Introduce him like an observer from fringe in that he is always seen at events just watching and waiting but never ever focused on unless you have a good eye.
Rip Hunter could of interacted with him in the past hence his watching of the group and waiting till its time for him to strike.

The bit with the colossal robot and the time skipping made me think of that episode of the Justice League cartoon where Vandal Savage rules in an alternative history of WW2. I would love to see something like that with this show.

Savage likely won't be the only villain, he might have high profile partners, minions, or competition. Some of the villains from the other shows might appear, or they could bring in new ones.

Any word if Savage is a one season thing or will the premise of the series be them continually trying to stop Savage and all his world domination plans throughout time. I think to effectively portray Savage he needs to be the series villain he can't be 13 episodes and done. But that's not to say it will be the Vandal Savage quest all the time, we still get some episodes where other matters pop up that the team has to deal with.

Looking at Merlyn on Arrow, I'd say if Vandal Savage is a hit on Legends we'll see him for some time.

Batman. The villain will be Batman. He is out for revenge against Oliver Queen for stealing all his supporting characters, and the "Legends of Tomorrow" are out to stop him.

Owlman and he brings his team from Earth- enter whatever number you like in an attempt to secure a bridgehead here since he's aware of the impending crisis of infinite earth's version 3.0 also known as the DC 52!

Still makes a great adversary so they not only have to worry about time travellers but alternate earth travellers too!

Imagine if Vandal Savage ends up stranded in one and in a later episode we see he's conquered the place fulfilling what is threatened in the pilot!
