Except Heatwave was busy carrying Carter's body out of there and then Rip told Cold to leave moments before he stabbed Savage. So even if they caught up to them and told them to come back and help with Savage's body it's possible Savage's henchmen/followers would have taken his body before they got back.
yeah and thank you for saying this . this where rip made a mistake yeah he sent snart and heatwave out ofthe room and tol snart to have the other leave he just should have had snart heatwave and sara leave with with hawk mans body and had atom who has and iron man suit and firestorm to stayed behind with him.

that was his tactical blunder. atom of all due to the exo suit is the strongest person/ character there. and he'll hard to catch from all savage's league of shadows like assassin like fallowers cause atom can fly fast do to his rockets and Ray can shrink too. The exo suit will allow atom to carry some of savage weight with ease at good speed and fire storm will easy make a path for rip to escape the build on his own feet . with flame blockades . for Jefferson this no different from foot ball for him keep the quarter back safe .

there wasn't a need to run back and forth for any of them. it's just didn't occurred to captain Rip hunter. sadly. And yeah the should would have ended early . I do get this.

But it's still a tactical blunder on captain rip hunters part with both Atom which this plan I just suggested is very likely to be doneand worked. and firestorm laying down cover / keep the followers of savage at bay for the both atom and captain Rip hunter to get out.

Heat wave and snart are sufficient enough to get both sara & carter's dead body with their guns making barrier/ blockkade paths for them selves to reach the ship.

Anyway the show is still going on and I look forward to next week.

Some things I like about this episode:

Atom swimming Hawkgirls' bloodstream.
Cold trying to change his past but the past staying the same.
Sara bloodlust.

Easter Egg: WANTED poster of Jonah Hex in Rip's room/study.

Anyone else having trouble understanding Rip's accent?
There has been a few time where I am straining to make out what he said.

So Rip pretty much said that Superman and Batman will exist (or in Batman's case have already existed) in the Arrowverse. And that both will die/fall.
I am sure we won't get to see them on the show but it is nice to know that those two will be a thing on Earth 1.

No, he said that he'd seen them, and seen them die. Nothing about them being on Earth-1.

I still think they could be eventually built them into the CW-verse. Batman I can buy still being in the shadows. Maybe on Earth-1 he doesn't openly advertise his presence and obviously still hasn't giving the GCPD a Bat Signal. And Superman could still be traveling the world as Clark, before he becomes known as Superman.

you cant take that quote from rip as literal there is a batman and superman running around or will be running around.

Pretty sure it's meant as a throwaway easter egg; with Rip simply being poetic by using "Men of Steel" and "Dark Knights". Perhaps even meaning people with superpowers and vigilantes respectively; assuming any meaning at all. It wouldn't make sense for there to be multiple Supermen and Batmen. Besides, the guy is one for the melodramatic after all and he was attempting a rousing speech.

I don't think it matters either way. It's not like we're going to be seeing them on these shows any time soon.

Yup we have to remember there is red tape all the time for various chsracters.

It was just a fun, throwaway easter egg line to make us fans smile, nothing more nothing less.

It was a very good episode with all the characters having very good turns.

Ray Palmer used his 'correct powers' for something significant to the interests of the team. :yay:

Cap Cold trying to change his past just seemed an inspired writing choice given how conflicted the character is supposed to be. Heatwave's one liners are absolutely hilarious!

Finally, White Canary on the show is an awesome character with great fight scenes while keeping the hotness quotient up which is always a win anyway.

Also, after advocating Hawkman's demise for sometime it's good to see him play a good role vis-a-vis the season's plot. :)

I enjoyed it.

I like that they've so far stuck with fixed points in time being something that you can't change despite what you do. Snart risked his sister and his past self having an abusive father by stealing that Krypton...I mean Emerald and getting his father out of prison. He with the threat he made, there was nothing good that could have come out of it knowing what we do about Snart's father. Plus, Heatwave being the voice of reason in that situation and you know you're making the wrong move.

Stein continues to be really great, and his interactions with Palmer about him being able to save Kendra now without the doubts from being unable to save his wife was a good touch.

Sara and Rip doing the heist without Rory and Snart, so you know there's instantly going to be trouble. "How many knives do you have?" Seeing Sara use her LoA knowledge out on the field is good stuff. This show is really getting to showcase everyone's skills and put it to good use.

Vandal Savage putting his megalomania to really good use by ensuring he will always have a cult devoted to him by sharing the wealth, so to speak with using Carter's body. Disturbing as hell when you actually think about it.

Great episode. The writers are showing the humanity in Leonard more and more. I just love Mick. Sara got a great scene with the stabbing. The team is coming together. Ray's bloodstream diving was pretty cool. Love Stein as his mentor.

That was a fun episode. I feel "they" give more room to the actors, I feel the serie is far less "pre-established". I mean that when people are fighting or saying "no I won't tell you",you they will. There's no real arguments. That's what I feel for the flash or Arrow.
But with this serie, I don't know, I feel the writing is better, more things can happen, anything can happen. Good thing.
And giving room to the actors is, in my opinion, what makes the writing better and the characters deeper.

Heatwave : "Can I shoot him ? ... ... no shooting then?"

I agree 100% with you. Getting Savage, even alive should be always in the cards when planning. So they should be ready to carry or capture a wounded Savage.
