Simple enough. The villain doesn't even have to be from the comics. But if you like the villain in general but not the way he/she came off in the film, you can't count them! Okay?
Right off the bat I go with the female Yakuza boss in "The Punisher" (1989).

I'd like to also add Max Shrek & Catwoman from "Batman Returns".

Damn you sig.

Anywho, Typhoid Mary in Elektra

Poison Ivy in Batman and Robin. Uma Thurman was Poison Ivy. If it didn't have the camp factor, there is no telling how far the character could have gone to as far as character development.

See, I thought she was horrible. She was hammy & overacted in every scene. But it wasn't her fault. That was clearly what Joel told her to do.

I liked Two-Face more than Riddler myself.
you know the filming and fan world will never realise that these are like one of the most sucessful comic book heroes to date

I mean who has the balls to blow up the batcave, think about it....

hardcore.

To even storm Wayne Manor in the first place...well, other than Ra's.
I'd add Red Skull to the list. I liked him so much I didn't notice how bad the movie was...then I watched it a second time.

Poison Ivy in Batman & Robin.
I don't really care what people say about the actors from this movie or Forever; The way I see it, they were made to follow the 60's campy Batman and not Burton's Batman. I thought the actors were good in their roles with the campiness.

-The Mummy, his lover, and the Anubis-Dog Soldiers in The Mummy Returns
-Darth Maul in The Phantom Menace
-Shinzon in Star Trek Nemesis (truth be told, I thought NEM was okay, but it could've been better. It's hard for me to come up with movies I just don't like. There are many more that I felt were underwhelming)
-Xenomorphs in Alien V. Predator
-Majestic in Get Rich or Die Trying (Ditto for this film)
-Hannibal Lector in Hannibal
-Cenobites in Hellraiser: Bloodlines
-Patrick Bateman in American Psycho (Go figure of course since he was in almost every scene, but I just wish the other characters had been as interesting or intriguing as Bateman)
-Merovingian, Agent Smith in Matrix Revolutions

But we didn't WANT to revisit the 60's. That is why it was & still is so ill-received.

I co-sign on Darth Maul. I forgave every plot & performance flaw that movie had because of the fight scenes & Maul.
