Hawkeye Vincent D'Onofrio returning as Wilson Fisk / The Kingpin

Yeah, it could work in the vain of Falcon and the Winter Soldier, meaning it will be fine for the most part, while also having moments where it's painfully obvious it's a watered down version. Still better than nothing.

To be fair, when we last left Matt Murdock, he was in a happier place. Now whether or not the Snap changes things remains to be seen.

The hardest character to do in PG-13 is I think the Punisher.

Impossible to remove what was obviously never there.
Kingpins role in this is to help launch Alaqua's Echo series.
??? Not sure what you’re trying to say here…but they could easily cut the scene from episode 4 or even move his initial introduction scene to episode 5, and still accomplish the same goal of using his role in the story of setting up the solo Echo series.

What you say is quite possible.
I tend to rely on getting my info from official sources.
To Me, My Time To Shine Hello is NOT one of those.

I am with you on that one.

As for Kingpin, I do think he'll show up based on last week. But I also think Val is going to show up as well.

Bernthal was great as Frank Castle, but I can't see the Punisher coming back anytime soon with how his logo has been treated in real life as of late.

Marvel should just have the opening of the Punisher series be Frank brutally take out a right wing paramilitary group co opting his logo and alluding to the panel of the cops telling him they admire him only for him to threaten them if they did. Problem solved.

As for a PG13 rating...you CAN do it, The Dark Knight was plenty violent for PG13 you just show the brutal stuff from angles where you don't directly see it and just don't have blood splatters everywhere.

Unless they do it for Hulu the go crazy with the R stuff.

I still think Marvel should use the "Marvel Knights" imprint for their harder stuff and have it on Hulu.

Correct on both counts. I do think Moon Knight will determine how a PG-13 Frank Castle would be done.

I hope it does toe the edge between pg13 and R, like the MCU still exists in the real world where violent things happen so The Punisher existing alongside the Avengers isn't far fetched.

I mean Clint was slicing and dicing people in Endgame lol

I was thinking this was gonna be the episode he would appear in though. But now I am starting to have my doubts again.

I won't believe any scene was removed unless I see actual proof.

I think they didn't want to overshadow Yelena.

Putting Yelena in this story frankly feels like a mistake. Now we have all these extra subplots and things going on and only two episodes left.

They introduced enough mysteries and McGuffins for a 22 episode season, not just 6 really.

Didn't realize D'Onofrio lost a bunch of weight.

Kingpin is the new Mephisto?

Wha?

At least Fisk is a narratively appropriate character that would fit the characters and not detract from the overall story, unlike the more typical "This will totally be a backdoor X-Men pilot!" crank theories. I'm actually surprised we don't hear more "the old retired character the watch connects to is Wolverine" theories.

for sure he’ll appear next week…but nothing more than a post credit scene.
both F&WS and Loki had post credit scenes after the 4th episode ( Falcon after the 5th, Loki after the 4th)

That episode sucked. That reveal sucked. That was such an anticlimactic, underwhelming reveal. Total garbage and respectful for the last three years and that's how you reintroduce that character.

Total garbage.

Too many subplots, too many characters in this show. It's mishandled everything.

I saw some people being skeptical that this was actually D'Onofrio but IMDB has now officially added him to the series cast.
