Viola Davis/Shonda Rhimes Team Up for 'How To Get Away With Murder'

Oh dear...

Very happy to see Davis get a golden globe nom as she deserves it.

And did I read right, are they bringing the show back in Feb only to have the season finale in March?

Long before Asher (Matt McGorry) ran over Sinclair on How to Get Away with Murder, he and his dad covered up a gang rape at their lake house on Trotter Lake. He's clearly still haunted by it -- and Bonnie (Liza Weil) sure doesn't want him to get away with that (murder's totally OK though) -- so will we see him apologize to Tiffany Howard in person?

"Right now, I don't know if we'll meet her, to be honest," executive producer Peter Nowalk tells us of the plans for the remaining six episodes of the season. The uncertainty stems not from lack of desire to explore the story, but because Nowalk wants to do right by it. "I think if we were going to do that story line, we would have to have a real reason to do it, because obviously what happened to her is one of the most disgusting things that could happen and we would have to tell a story we haven't told before that we're honestly not telling with Annalise and Bonnie, who are both survivors. We would have to really devote time to it."

"But," he adds, "I wouldn't count that out."

How to Get Away with Murder returns Thursday, Feb. 11 at 10/9c on ABC.

Seeing Matt McGorry in a new light...

New TGIT Promo

Oh Jesus, that clip is gonna make the "Annalise is Wes' Mom" people go off.

Looks more like Wes' mom tried to pawn him off on Annalise at some point and she's just screaming that she can't take care of a child.

At the moment, I'm not taking the scene literally. She looks there like she does in the show's present, and as it would seem like a huge left turn for some unrelated character to drop their baby off at the home of a woman just recently shot and entangled in a murder trial, I'm thinking it's a dream sequence. And therefore, I'm gonna guess that alot of the people buying into that particular theory will think that it's her guilt about her abandoning her child manifesting.

I'm not so sure.

New Promo

"You shot her?!"
"She asked for it.... That wasn't an excuse, by the way, she literally asked all of us to shoot her. You were there!"

Wonder if that SAG Award hurts as much as a golden law trophy. :hmm

Back tonight, after a million years.

From Tumblr...

Bonnie:*Realizes Annalise is hallucinating*
Bonnie:I told this ***** 1 pill every six hours
:lmao:

Besides Viola's usual great acting, last night's episode was a whole lotta mess. I'm totally side eyeing the baby hallucination plot.

And oh... looks like they're going full steam ahead on the Laurel/Wes train? :funny:

Somehow I didn’t pay attention to this scene on my initial watch, but I have a feeling it might be very important.

At first it looks like Annalise is talking about shooting night, but it doesn’t really make sense. There was nobody else in the Hapstall mansion that night save for AK, Bonnie and students, and there was a mention that Caleb and Catherine fired all their employees earlier this season.

Cleaning lady’s name, which she coincidentally shares with the woman, who is presumably Wes’ mother, and that shot of Wes when Annalise mentions her son, make me think that Annalise on her Vicodin high may actually be talking about that 10 year old case. She and Eve convinced Rose to testify by promising to take care of Christophe. Something backfired and she committed suicide (or was murdered) because of that testimony. It could explain Eve’s “What did we do?“ and Annalise being “a very good person“ for protecting Wes.
Hmmm...

Anyone know the name of the song that played near the end of the episode?

Sounded like Rihanna, but good.

EDIT: Nevermind i found it, it's Zola Jesus - Ixode

Dat [blackout]Wes/Laurel[/blackout] kiss. About time he moved on from the corpse.

That ending is obviously a red herring though.

While I think that's the case, I would love it if it's true. :oldrazz:

:funny:

Christophe: "Mom, I wanna watch Pokemon."
Rose: "No, Christophe, go to bed."
Christophe: *grabs knife and jump-shanks his mother in the neck*

Truthfully, though, with the way Annalise has been protecting him, I imagine the blood is on her hands rather than his. Plus, Eve still has some part to play in all this.

:hehe:

Not to mention, it will further prove Laurel's terrible taste in men.
