Viola Davis/Shonda Rhimes Team Up for 'How To Get Away With Murder'

Quoting for posterity. Good call.

The second she [blackout]had her little outburst at Laurel in the finale[/blackout], I never even bothered to consider any other possibility. That speech she gave before doing the deed was creepy as hell, too.

Ugh. I love this f***ing show. That wig Annalise was wearing at the end was a mess, tho. :o

As for the ending, part of me thinks it's all been made far too obvious for it to be [blackout]Wes[/blackout] that did it, but another part thinks [blackout]he's gonna find out about Rebecca eventually and Annalise's involvement with disposing of the body or maybe even protecting Bonnie[/blackout], so maybe...

It'd be amazing if [blackout]Bonnie[/blackout] turned full villain on Annalise and [blackout]tearfully confessed what she did to Wes and made it sound like it was on Annalise's orders[/blackout].

Tonights episode:eek:OMG. Lots of twists . Can't wait till next week. I still have to dvr Scandal. lol.

"How To Get A Wig With Murder" is back! Great premiere but I can't tell if I'm pleased at how they wrapped things up from season 1 or maybe I need to wait to see how things play out. [blackout]Frank basically got away with murder. No one is looking for Lyla's killer anymore, its pinned on Sam who's gone now....and then you got the death of Rebecca figured out in the first episode of season 2.[/blackout]

Like, I guess its good they didn't drag it out, but now we got a whole new mystery now. I'm guessing the events in the premiere will have effects that lead up to the final scene 2 months later.

I think we're in for a pretty damn good season.

Well he is the one responsible...

I'm still undecided on where they will take the Annalise/Wes relationship. 90% of the time, she's acting very maternal towards him and then there are those few scenes here and there where the sexual tension is palpable. Are they going to go there and let it be both?! :hehe:

As for the ending, my guess is [blackout]Famke will go all Phoenix on Annalise[/blackout]. Too obvious?

I wasn't expecting Annalise and Jean Grey to get down, and then once she got her mojo back she was off to party and seduce Wes!

Then the 4 month jump..The show is called "How To Get Away With Murder" not "How To Get Away With Attempted Murder" So, is [BLACKOUT]Annalise really dead[/BLACKOUT]? and what was she doing at the creepy adopted kids mansion? :sh:

Just because that's the title of the show doesn't mean that any character whose life is in danger has to die. Obviously they won't kill their [blackout]Emmy winning lead actress[/blackout]. If anything, they can justify the title with the fact that she's been put in that situation because of all the getting away with murder that's been done so far.

Great episode. I'm glad they wrapped up last season's mystery and started a new one. [BLACKOUT]Obvi, they're not going to kill Annalise, so definitely curious what's happening there.[/BLACKOUT] Good to have the show back .

You weren't? I was surprised it didn't happen sooner. It was all but obvious they intended this to go the semi-traditional "college lesbian experimentation" route and have them be ex-lovers.

I have no problem with gay relationships but at times it is almost comical how frequently these characters fall into them. There is almost a 100% guarantee someone who seemingly is straight on this show will have at least one homosexual encounter before the series ends.

It doesn't bother me one bit but it really almost made me laugh for real when they started making out just like it was something out of some guy's fantasy, only 20 years later.

I wasn't sure if [BLACKOUT]Viola was in it for the long haul as she is not in need of the show exactly and might have mapped out the arc she wanted with the producers. [/BLACKOUT]

I honestly didn't read it at all. :O Granted, nearly everyone on the show does kind of act towards each other like they may get their sex on at any moment I agree, but Annalise just didn't give me that vibe with Famke.

Really? I picked up on it right away. Although that might be just because I really wanted to see it, haha.

The Fosters is letting Sherri Saum get away with working a second job.

The actress has signed on to guest-star in a Season 2 episode of How to Get Away With Murder, TVLine has learned exclusively.

An HTGAWM rep confirmed Saum’s casting, but declined to provide any details about her character.

The fact that The Fosters and HTGAWM both fall under the Disney umbrella (ABC Family and ABC, respectively) likely helped Saum cut through any potential contract-related red tape.

Saum’s episode is slated to air later this fall.

When I saw that, my first thought was [blackout]flashbacks to Wes' mother[/blackout].

One thing I'd really like to see in the flashforwards this season is [blackout]Asher being involved with the rest of the group on the night of the shooting[/blackout].

Oh s***, this season's murder night looks even more brutal than last season's.

SO glad to learn the [blackout]DA chick[/blackout] is going to die, can't stand her bratty demeanor and Annalise was spot on about how she's a terrible lawyer. Just means though we're stuck with her for the whole season until murder night.

Found on Tumblr....
These children running out on Annalise bleeding on the ground

:pal:

Can't wait to see what happened on the murder night. [BLACKOUT]The prosecutor looked like she'd taken a pretty bad beating before being killed.[/BLACKOUT]

Part of me is seeing all the story they're setting up for Asher and wondering if he's the one who [blackout]kills the prosecutor/shoots Annalise[/blackout], but another part thinks it's going to be bigger than that.

I hope Asher didn't kill that girl from his past (or if he did, hopefully it was some sort of accident that got covered up or something). He's such a lovable *****e that making him a full-on murderer would make him less enjoyable.

Last week Frank annihilated Laurel with the mega tease swerve and this week Michaela is all "Smell it!" This show is a sexual battlefield. :funny:

On the murdering side of things the Nate team up with the students was a neat twist.

Yeah I am guessing the girl may have had an affair with his father and he was culpable in her death rather than Asher.

Hmmm, interesting. Yeah, I just figured he went to his dad for help because his father is rich and powerful, but maybe his dad is actually the guilty party.
