Actually it wasn't entirely Nintendo's fault, going by what the gentleman from Rare said a couple of weeks ago.
He said that the Bond licensing was holding the game back also, on top of that they have Brosnan's likeness in the game, so that is another hurtle.
It probably wouldn't have worked even if Nintendo said yes to the deal.
Yeah, but Nintendo didn't seem like they even wanted to help get things situated. It's kind of hard to focus on the licensing issues when a major part of the deal has no interest. I don't see Brosnan's likeness being that big of a problem, it's just a re-release of a game he already agreed to. Even if they figured out all of the other problems, which they could have, Nintendo was still going to be stubborn. Their reasoning behind turning it down is pretty crazy.
Oh well, With Banjo coming out on XBLA, hopefully that means Perfect Dark isn't too far behind.
