But I would say Halo.

MGS4 is going to be big and everyone love the gameplay so i say MGS

But if you're going by popularity it's gotta be Halo. Halo has the huge online network, they're getting a movie, almost every average Joe under the age of 40 would know what you were talking about if you mentioned Halo, not so with MGS.
