Which game is the best by popularity votes?

What was biased about it? There was nothing false or even spun in my favor about what I posted, all I did was write down what has actually happened with the series.

Picture perfect Splinter Cell pics? I grabbed a screen shot. You know, you're allowed to post some "picture perfect" shots of MGS. Good luck.

Meh, I went through the IGN pictures and couldn't find anything that captured most of the crazy stuff in the game. Most of the badass s**t is in the cinematics. Splinter Cell is a superficial experience which will change a little bit when Double Agent comes out but regardless, MGS is a game where you love the characters because you're attached to them, not because he's a modern day ninja.

When some one brings up MGS, Splinter Cell is always sure to follow. When people eat dirt for so long, they get used to it. When other people who've had some brand new steak come around and go "dude, you're eating dirt" they get pissed off. Instead, how about you drop the dirt and come eat some steak with us.

What's wrong with eating steak with dirt for desert? I just think it's stupid that you're comparing Splinter Cell to Metal Gear Solid.

I don't understand the reasoning here. Splinter Cell is a better game because it's more adult, and realistic? Huh?

There are a string of childish, cartoony, completely unrealistic games out there that are as great as the realistic ones. Since when did silliness and a lack of realism equate to a bad game?

For me, Splinter Cell is the better game because it has a lot more intriguing gameplay mechanics and is actually a real "stealth"-based game instead of being one in name only like MGS.

It doesn't. A terrible story that takes more of a focus that the gameplay, boring "stealth" gameplay that is about as stealthy as most first person shooters, and the constant stream of nonfunny jokes are all things that make Metal Gear crap. It's not that he's fighting a giant metal dinosaur, or a 60 year old russian cowboy. Those only contribute to it.
