"Wait Until After the Credits..."

When you say them, can you please explain what happens in spoilers, I wanna know some of these.

Here are some of the ones I know:

Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl
We see that Jack the Monkey has taken one of the gold coins, thus becoming cursed again.

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest
The cannibals have made the dog their chief.

Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End
Will returns to be with his wife and son.

Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer
We see that the Surfer is alive as he opens his eyes and his board floats over to him.

X-Men: The Last Stand
It turns out Professor Xavier survived by preserving his mind in the body of the bedsick man Dr. MacTaggart was taking care of.

Transformers
Two scenes show the Witwickys being interviewed, while another shows Starscream flying off into space.

they're usually good but x3 was like being kicked in the groin ten minutes after having your ass whooped

I dont understand all the hate for it, it only showed Xavier wasnt dead, with a feasible explanation...

X3 had the best ever... no question....
i was soooooooo happy after watching it.
nothing beats it

The last 5 minutes made the entire film redundant. So Xavier is alive? And Magneto still has his powers? What's changed?

I always liked the end of The Chase. Charlie Sheen does Robert Duvall's "Love the smell of napalm in the morning" speech from Apocalypse Now while wearing a clown suit.

I love and hate after-credits scenes. They can be great (Pirates of the Caribbean), but then again, I don't feel like sitting there an extra ten minutes waiting for the credits to be over. I've got s**t to do. I don't have the time to sit around in a theater for the credits.

I agree. Very few people sit all the way till the end of the credits and if you're doing that just add a scene that worth sitting for.

I didn't sit for the scene in Constantine ( even though i love that movie). But that scene itself isn't worthwhile.

Ditto with POTC 3 , again despite how much i like that movie i just didn't think it was worth sitting for so long.

Matrix Reloaded was worth it . Transformers was worth it

One of my faves is at the end of "Lethal Weapon 3".

Riggs and Murtaugh pull up to another building, responding to a "bomb threat", as in the film's beginning. Riggs says, "Which wire was that, Rog? Blue wire, red wire?" Righ as he opens the car door, the building explodes! they drive off in a frenzy, Mutraugh raving about them getting busted down to patrol duty again. Then comes their famous line in perfect unison: "I'm gettin' too old for this ****."

titanic
when jack rose from the dead and drop kicked that old lady in the water for making his ass stay in the water and not on the raft.

He means the Darth Vader breathing bit

Am I the only person who hates this new trend in Hollywood of putting scenes after the credits? Is there any benefit to it? Just conclude your story during the actual movie.

I like it when it's like...y'know a small gag for the people left in the theatre. It's very ****ty indeed when it's part of the story.

I once heard that when Mortal Kombat was first shown in theatres, there was a scene at the end of the credits which showed Goro climbing up the edge of the cliff that Johnny Cage threw him off and he looks into the camera and says "Where's Johnny?".

I have no way of confirming that, though. Unfortunately.

Tell me this is just a sick sick joke....:wow:

Not enough good things can be said about the chase imo...amazing movie and Chuck Sheen is my hero :)

yeah. I mean what's the scene?
It's presumably Christmas eve, and Liz asks if Howard got her anything for Christmas. The camera zooms in on Howard, who gives the camera an  look.
