WandaVision WandaVision General Discussion Thread

Just found out the show will be half 50's sitcom. I don't get how/why that's possible and going to be a thing. I'm already confused on how Vision will be alive and this sounds so random.

Wanda making herself a fantasy land as a coping skill, I'm guessing.

Where did you hear this I wonder - I think half might be a bit of an exaggeration...but all will be explained I'm sure...

An article and the showrunner or some lady involved from when Feige revealed the Disney + shows. Missed that part

According to this promo for Disney Plus content that will be arriving in 2020 like new movies and original shows. WandaVision will actually premiere this year. Instead of 2021(the year it was initially announced it was going to premiere in at Comic-Con).

Unless this was an error, then it looks like we’ll be getting two MCU-related shows in the same year. You also have Falcon & The Winter Solider also debuting in 2020. So two MCU shows and two MCU movies within the same year.

Definitely not an error

Interesting when it could be released. August/September will be Falcon & Wintersoldier, November will be Mandalorian season
My guess is October or December, but I think it‘ll be December

I had a feeling they would fast track this. Feige is all excited about it, they’re already filming, doesn’t make sense to sit on it for a whole year.

Maybe this means they’ll bump up Multiverse of Madness too?

So stoked for this show. Huge crush on Lizzie Olsen. Wanda is literally the best female avenger IMO and was beyond amazing in her sheer ass kickery of Thanos.

The concept of this show sounds incredible

I guess Wandavision will arrive DEC. Doctor Strange 2 in MAY 2021.
Fans can wait five months. It is more interesting if the Trailer for Doctor Strange would spoil the results of Wandavision.

That would be great, but then, WandVision needs to start in the first week of November, because it needs 6 weeks until its finale. November might be Mandalorian-month. Maybe it‘ll start around Halloween.

Then Falcon and the winter soldier has to start in September and with the end of this Show, Wandavision start very soon after it.
Would be fun to have MCU Content every week.

i'm glad they moving it up but I think it's to keep people from canceling Disney plus I mean after the mandolorian finished I cancelled cause there is nothing else to hold my interest until the marvel shows appear and Mando S2

Well that Sheila Knoxx twitter account has tons of stuff if true...she is suppose to be playing Amora aka the Enchantress, she will be Latverian too??? I am trying to read through the tweets...I don't use twitter a ton to be honest....

I hope that Adult Monica Rambeau becomes a fan favorite and transitions into the movies as a fan favorite MCU character. It could be big for Teyonah Parris to be known as "Monica Rambeau in the MCU" instead of "the girl from Dear White People and Chi-Raq" or even "The Black Girl from Mad Men." I hope that Monica is the role Teyonah is best known for rather then her roles on Dear White People, Chi-Raq or If Beale Street Could Talk. Now those roles show her range as an actress and are good movies, but they don't have the mass global appeal that the MCU has. This could be her biggest role to date if she becomes a massive fan favorite.

Anyway looks like I’ll be going for the annual subscription to Disney+ lol
