I loved it. You’re the biggest movie studio in the world. You haven’t put out anything new in over a year. You have the biggest movies of all time. And your first act back is to go all in on a 50s style sitcom with no action or explanation of what’s happening and why. That’s how you hook people back in.I don't understand all of the love for the show.
I like the nostalgia of the feel of the episodes, but it often goes too overboard on 50's sit-com as opposed to a 2021 Marvel show. I get it, but if I want to watch a My Three Sons episode, I will watch a My Three Sons episode. Get on with the plot already.
Other than the expectations of something happening at some point because it is Wanda/Vision/MCU-ish... the first two episodes gave me nothing to make me want to watch episode 3.
Plus, seven and a half minutes of credits? Really?
Maybe. I guess I'm just in a rush to get to what's really going on, but also to see how they tackle the '70s-'00s eras of television.Something tells me once the big picture plot gets more steam, it's be less of a binge need. Theory speculation is going to ramp up once we start finding out more, and I bet that'll keep us busy in between episodes.
I was confused by that as well because it made me think that there would be a post-credits scene after each episode. Not the case yet but I'm sure there will be one after the finale.Plus, seven and a half minutes of credits? Really?

I have a feeling we'll be seeing them in the "real world" as well once the curtain is pulled back with what's going on, along with Vision's coworkers and boss, etc since we saw Monica Rambeau in episode 2 and we know that she's real. Think ending of Wizard of Oz style where you see that the Scarecrow, Tin Man and Lion were the farmhands.I really hope this isn’t the last we’ve seen of Debra Jo Rupp or Emma Caulfield. So good to see them on the screen again.
Also did anyone else see the concept art of Wonder Man in the background of the producers office.
AgreedI don't understand all of the love for the show.

No, boring people to death is not a hook, it's an anchor.
you don’t have the right prospective. This is meant to be a fantasy that starts out happy but ultimately will go dark and twisted.
Wanda is living out a dream, unfortunately this has consequences because her abilities are dangerous and can literal rip through the fabric of reality. I suspect the more she tries to deny the truth, the worsts thing will get.

I'm glad most are loving this. But from what I understand, this show is kind of a slow burn. I will wait for the season to be over and then binge it, that is if I could resist waiting that long.
I didn't likeit either.I don't understand all of the love for the show.

Well i guess thats one thing I could say they improved from the Netflix's shows. More episode discussions and speculation as not all episodes are dropped in the same day/week.Well from a marketing standpoint they want to stretch this out since it's nine episodes total.
Week 1 (Episodes 1&2) Jan 15
Week 2 (Episode 3) Jan 22
Week 3 (Episode 4) Jan 29
Week 4 (Episode 5) Feb 5
Week 5 (Episode 6) Feb 12
Week 6 (Episode 7) Feb 19
Week 7 (Episode 8) Feb 26
Week 8 (Episode 9) March 5
And then the following week March 12th is the debut of Falcon and The Winter Soldier. They basically have adopted The Mandalorian style of one Week release that gets coverage and keeps the views coming back for more. Unlike Netflix who dropped it all in one shot. I like Disney+ strategy because it makes it fun to speculate and dig deep into what's going on, plus for eagle eye watchers and comic book fans we see so much Easter eggs in the Episodes that delight and tease wanting more...
I'll try my best, but if **** hits the fan, I probably won't be able to resist. You got great patience sis. I couldn’t do it lol.
There's no way I would be able to wait to binge Falcon and the Winter soldier, that's my most anticipated mcu series.
