WandaVision WandaVision: Season 1, Episode 8 "Previously On" (spoilers)

All the actors involved thus far have done a great job, but dear lord all mighty, Olsen has been KILLING it throughout the series. Phenomenal acting.
True. I never knew she had it in her. Kathryn Hahn is perfect too. I know we haven't seen much of her, but she's already one of my favourite villains in the mcu.

has SookieIsMine84 any credibility?

Well he has given alot of accurate leaks on reddit. he leaked at least 2 lengthy scenes from episode 1 prior to episodes released. he leaked that Agnes is Agatha Harkness and that Evan Peters was playing Quicksilver sometime before the episodes validated that information. also that Mephisto is not in this show. dunno if thats a spoiler still at this point.

He leaked the actor who played visions boss in the show. slightly less interesting.

So its kinda hard not to believe he has some credibility.

What an episode!

You really get a feeling for the tragedy of Wanda's life. And I'm happy to find out she's a witch. I thought the getting her powers from the mind stone was a little crappy.

I wonder if she gave Pietro his powers.

You know what I find amusing? We heard millions of theories last week and we analyzed even the most inconsequential detail. But nobody seemed to pay attention to Hayward's line about being "ready to launch". And now here we are.

This is the first the first episode where I practically leapt at the screen, exclaiming there was no time to end. Usually, the stopping points are expected, even if I could go for more. It almost seemed cruel to stop where we did. That's great for a penultimate episode.

Elizabeth is killing it.

I wonder how many hours of makeup Paul Bettany has to sit through to give us excellent television.

That’s chaos magic in its own right lol.

About one hour - the make-up has been changed from what he wore in INFINITY WAR which took about an hour and a half - now he just has a bald cap and red paint - the rest is all digital

Now the only thing I want is for them to bring back our Pietro. They've referenced him a lot in the show, she even told vision in the flash back that the only thing that would make her happy is to get him back. I don't know which Marvel god I have to pray to, to get him back.
I'm not even sure whether AJT would come back at this point. It seemed a one time deal for him.

Agatha doesn't seem to have that much power to open the multivers. She was drawn to Wanda because of how powerful she is, if Agatha was that powerful she wouldn't need Wanda. So I don't think fake Pietro is fox quicksilver, she hired him to impersonate Wanda's brother.
I agree that Agatha isn't powerful enough to open the multiverse, but I don't buy that she hired someone who just so happens to resemble the Fox Quicksilver for our eyes only.

3. This show is still setting up the multiverse. and Evan Peters is 100% in the next episode. which is the final right? so basically right next door to events that give us Spider-man 3 with presumbaly returning actors from Sonys other movies. am sure thats just a coincidence right?... right?
Episode 9 is next. There's two more to go. :-)

Pretty sure Agatha doesn’t know the full extent of her powers within The Hex created by Wanda. Maybe, she still stole Quicksilver from the X-Universe.

But, she knows at least that she can control him to an extent within The Hex. She still hasn’t mentioned how he’s “here” in The Hex.

I refuse to believe that they would go so far as to get Evan Peters who played Quicksilver in the Fox X-Men movie to reprise the role as MCU's Quicksilver then just be like "Nope, just kidding it's a person in disguise." Then why not just get some other actor to portray him? That's a very intentional casting decision.

At this point, it's obvious ATJ doesn't want to play Pietro again and Peters' version of Pietro is generally loved by the audience so just say he's plucked from another reality and let's keep it pushing. Doesn't need to be complicated.

It would have made sense for Hawkeye to reach out to Wanda in the middle of this when she emerged from the Hex to threaten SWORD in Episode 5 since he was the Avenger she was closest with besides Vision. But I imagine that conversation would have gone something like this:

Clint: Wanda, you have to stop. I know what you're going through. I lost my whole family and went down this path. This won't solve anything.
Wanda: Your family came back. Vision didn't.
Clint: ........Well, I tried, guys.

:o
Seriously the Avengers all failed Wanda. Nobody thought of checking in on her :csad:.

My biggest takeaway from this episode is...

They can put robots on a property deed? Wild.

Maybe he was granted US citizenship for signing the Sokovia Accords? That may explain why SWORD had dibs on his body.

Most of his/her leaks have turned out to be correct so I'd say so.

I have read a few things on Reddit about her/his leaks.
He/she leaked that Agnes is AGatha HarkNES...now who could’ve seen that coming...

Seriously the Avengers all failed Wanda. Nobody thought of checking in on her :csad:.

Who's left, though? Outside of Vision and Clint, the only folks she seemed to have any relationship were her Civil War roomies Nat, Cap and (maybe) Sam. Vision and Nat are dead, Cap's about a zillion, and Clint and Sam have whatever is going on in their own shows. She really was all alone.

Yeah that is what’s really sad. Wanda was snapped back and Tony, Nat, Vision are all dead. Cap is gone. Sam and Clint are really the only two she knows who clearly went off on their own. Everyone else around her were people she’s barely interacted with. She was all alone. Makes it even sadder.

Well, I didn't love it, but I think it delivered in a lot of ways still. Really enjoyed Agatha and seeing Wanda's true origin.

I don't think that's the gist of Peters coming back and I'm sure we'll get more answers in regards to that next week. I also don't think they'll pull the retcon and make her a mutant, even though I expected Agatha to call her a "mutant" and not just "Scarlet Witch" at the end there.

Didn't really get the credits scene with white Vision, so I'm just going to let that one play out and see.

Hopefully the finale really delivers. There's still a lot of questions unanswered.

I don't think Wanda will be a mutant at this point. she can't be Magneto daughter. this episode has pretty much confirmed her parents.

I have read a few things on Reddit about her/his leaks.

Surprisingly not many. the favourite fan theory was always Everyone we don't trust is mephisto!

Aw that sucks, didn't realise Mephisto had been ruled out. I was sure I saw some hints towards that.

Maybe that's why I was disappointed in the episode a bit. I'm eager to see that side of the universe revealed.

To be fair she appeared stable at the funeral. Plus Clint has his own issues to deal with , his family and Kate Bishop. Steve left to live in an alternate timeline with Peggy, Sam and Bucky clearly have their own issues in a post 5 year world adjustment.

Thor is off world with the Guardians of the Galaxy, Hulk is still probably recovering from the nano Gauntlet injury.
