    copyright and ownership notwithstanding,could someone,or a group of fans of the book make a more exact movie or miniseries of the book despite this movie coming out?:word:

    Yes, they could. You could make a fan film of the material - which would be fine - but trying to make money off of that fan film would not be fine. Basically, you can make the fan film for your enjoyment, but trying to sell or otherwise turn a profit is illegal.
