After seeing DoFP again, I feel like Mystique almost has to be one of the Horsemen.

She can't come back as Magneto's henchie. Nor will she be a member of the X-Men. I doubt they'll make another story tailor made for her (like DoFP). So what else is there? She doesn't seem radical enough to go out and purposefully awaken Apoc. That's more Magneto's style. Instead I'd assume they'll make her and Wolverine Horsemen. Along with Gambit and maybe Archangel. But what do I know?

Kinberg implied in an interview that we may see how Mystique joins Magneto again in X-Men: Apocalypse, so I'm thinking that a common interest in Apocalypse reunites them, and they both (along with Wolverine) become Horsemen.

My bet Is including comments made by Kinberg and ending of DOFP Is that
Wolverine will get adamanturm and become "Death" like In Twelve storyline and
Magneto may fill the role Sinister had In AoA storyline of horseman who betreys
Apocalypse.Mystique will probally be on APocalypse's side at least intially and
that's how she and magneto become re-aligned as Kinberg said.The other 2
horseman will likely be characters not used in films yet.

DOFP showed they will always use a few characters not seen previously In films.

I'm hoping Sinister is one of the horseman. It would be cool to see the character introduced in this movie and used in future for something else. I think Wolverine should take the place of Archangel as Death (ala The Twelve). As for the other two, my preference is Abyss and Holocaust. But, I think they may likely use Magneto and Mystique like others have suggested.

I was watching X:Evo yesterday and after all these years if just dawned on me that his 4 horsemen were present right before they sealed him in the eye of ages.

Since Kinberg has said they are taking a few things from AOA story I think Sinister will be a horsemen, "Pestilence" perhaps and Magneto/Mystique will def. be back and will side w/Apocalypse (and betray him in the end) so their you have "War" and "Famine" through this that's probably how they'll reconnect, that Kinberg alluded to. As for the 4th horsemen, "Death" it can be either Gambit, (longshot) Wolverine, or perhaps Quicksilver. We 2 of these characters will make there return to the franchise the only one in question is Wolverine.

That's what I'm thinking. Currently my bet is Mystique, Wolverine, Gambit and Angel.

Although Mystique's skillset might not make much sense for a comicbook Apocalypse. It might for the "charismatic leader" Apocalypse that Kinberg described in his interview. Or perhaps he'll power her up somehow too. This memory comes to mind:

I disagree about Gambit.

I can't see Magneto as a servant of any kind. I'm not saying he's powerful enough to resist Apocalypse's mental domination, but maybe that helmet he wears is.

I'd rather see Apocalypse's awakening be Magneto's fault, but then he realizes he's made a huge mistake and helps Charles to defeat Apocalypse. If only to save Mystique. Or maybe because he realizes Apocalypse is so far beyond mutantkind and doesn't want to live his life as a slave.

Magneto I see filling void that SInster had In original AoA storyline as horseman who betreys Apocalypse. Kinberg has tlaked about Magneto and Mystique becoming realigned
so that could how that happens.

I dont think Magneto will be a Horseman but it would be interesting if QS was and Magneto came with Wanda to break free his son and her brother... That would be a good reason to team up with the X-Men

I really hope Sinister is left out of the next film. They should save Sinister for his own film. His story is too good to squeeze into Apocalypse's film. Each of them need to be developed independently.

I like the idea of Wolverine, Mystique, Gambit and Shaw as horseman. Shaw could be brought back by Apocalypse. It's been known to happen in the comics (see Uncanny Avengers for some resurrected horseman).

I don't want Wolverine to get another story arc, so I would like to see someone else in his place. Not sure who though.

A few thoughts I have:


I hope they maybe introduce a few new characters as horsemen/use existing characters not known for being horsemen. I do think Archangel is a must for a horsemen.

In a future timeline there are a lot more characters to work with.

Rogue (giving her the ability of super strength and flight)

Looking at a 1980's timeline I really like how the Horsemen played out in X-Men Evolution. I would be ok with Magneto, Xavier or Mystique becoming Horsemen. I also loved the way the Horsemen looked in this series. Dark Beast may also work.

The problem with the current first class timeline is that there seem to be only a few characters remaining. Aside from Beast, Havok, Mystique, Quicksilver, Xavier, Toad and Magneto (and a couple of other mutants throughout the film), there isn't much to build a team of 4 Horsemen that would be able to match up against the remaining protagonists. Characters will need to be introduced without stepping on the eggshells of continuity this franchise has been working on repairing. At this point in time Wolverine has no memory of X-Men DOFP and would at this time be working with Stryker presumably. If they decide they want to use Wolverine, they will have to go ahead with sending Wolverine back in time again, or find a way to work him into the story line post DOFP amnesia and pre Weapon X amnesia.

As for Mr. Sinister... I would be ok with seeing him in this movie, but only if he wasn't a Horsemen. If he is included, I would like to see him as the man behind the "resurrection" of Apocalypse, or as a second in command with a hand in genetically modifying and enhancing the Horsemen's powers.

I wonder whether they'll have them as new actors and not evil incarnations of xmen..... They might have a token 1 but not sure about all 4
