Hmm, I'm not sure who I'd want to direct. I could see them giving this to the Crank guys, Neveldine and Taylor since Brolin more or less bullied them off of Jonah Hex. Especially if they get Statham as Deadshot.

One idea on the name would be to change it to "Secret Six (or Seven or Squad") and incorporate some of those characters, specifically Catman and a version of Scandal. This could makr it very much a Deadshot-centered movie, though. Digger's great and the pull of his scumbagginess versus Blake's "high road/return to honor" would make for a sort of "bromance" triangle. (Did I just write that. . . and hit "submit?")

He would be good. Peter Berg wouldn't be bad either.
Mix "The Kingdom" with "Hancock" and you get something similar to the Suicide Squad.

I'd say Shazam! still has a better chance to get made than this movie after Watchmens under performance.

Oh and for director I suggest the guy who did Taken. Thats a badass movie.

They just started setting it up in February. How far along do you expect it to be?

Yea they probably just have a screen writer writing a draft and if its liked maybe it will move into active development or it could fall apart like shazam did. Right now all we got from dv live action films is hex currently filming in new orleans, gl is still casting/testing, and that losers project has a cast but i dont know when that is due to start filming.
