J'onn is not a boring character. He offers a unique perspective and can be very interesting when well-written. I came into this thread thinking it was news about J'onn being in the JLA film. I should have known better...

Dr. Fate. I think, if true, that the third female character might be Zatanna. Didn't WB try to get a Zatanna film started a couple of years ago. If so, than it would make sense for them to want her in this movie.

I thought it could be Zatanna too. I think Evangeline Lilly, Kristin Kreuk, or Jill Wagner( Blade the series/ Mercury girl) could play her.

I just cant see a Zatanna movie a lady with a top hat and stockings who speaks spells backwards doesnt sound like cinema gold to me maybe a tv series but thats it.

Zatanna hasn't always worn a top hat, etc. Just go with her older costume and it wouldn't be a problem. Am I the only one who finds it ridiculous that some people have a problem with a character with magic abilities but can easily accept aliens, amazons, atlanteans, etc.?

lol, good point. Zatanna doesn't have to have the top hat in the movie. Who knows how much the producers are gonna change the characters for the movie.

I'd rather Jonn be in the film than Aquaman. I know he's not one of DC's most famous characters, they should have included him in the superfriends, it would have raised his profile. But any of my friends that saw episodes of JLU were interested in who he was, and wanted to see more of him...his powers are totally bad @$$ when used to potential. He isn't a boring character in the least.

At least make him the focus of the sequel WB.

That's what I said in another thread. Have the OMACS in the first movie and introduce J'onn, along with the White Martians in the second. He can be the main focus of the movie since he will, most likely, be the only character who won't get a solo movie.

Justice League is .......Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Lantern, Green Arrow, Aquaman...............I'm old school. This film should explain why the top DC heroes come together, the others can come along later! An homage scene to the JSA would be kinda cool.

EVERY Justice League roster needs J'onn. In the comics. In the cartoon. In the movies. Whatever. Without him, it'll suck by default.

I would only want the character should he serve the story. Should he not than he would only be filling up space. Like most fans would like, you want a character who will do something. Not stand there like a little monkey.

Agreed! I think she's a good character, but only as part of a team. Zantanna as part of the JLA is good, but not as a stand alone movie.
