If the JLA gets Made how would you design the Costumes?????

Superman
Batman
Wonder Woman
Martian Manhunter
Green Lantern
Aquaman
Flash

Superman- i believe should stay like the SR movie
Batman- i believe should stay like the upcoming TDK film
Wonder Woman-
Flash- i think should be made from the same material the Spider-man movie Suit was made of.
Martian Manhunter- i think a mix of body makeup and CG
Green Lantern- Somewhere along the lines of TDK costume but without so much padding, just enough for definition.
Aquaman-

I think this would be a neat opportunity to have Batman in the black and gray costume, but if they stick with the TDK suit, then that's fine too.

In general I really don't care what the costumes looks like as long as they stay fairly true to the original designs

I'm sorry, but everytime I try to imagine the brightly colored costumes on screen next to each other, I laugh a little. WW is probably the only one in need of an overhaul.

If done on the level of Superman Returns, Batman Begins, and the Spider-Man films, the costumes should look totally fine and believable.
With tons of them bunched together it might seem more realistic and natural, non questionable. Especially during the action sequences.

Yeah, it will look a bit silly but that's just comes with the territory, and in some ways, is part of the charm.

As long as all the costumes are up to snuff individually, I couldn't care less if they look a little silly when all together, in fact I'm looking FORWARD to it.

Anyway, I think the costumes of all JLA members can be faithful and realistically adapted to the big screen. The only one that would need an overhaul, like someone else already mentioned, would be Wonder Woman. Do you honestly believe a Amazon Warrior from an Island hidden from the rest of the human world, would dress like she does in the comics?

I have no problem with the outfit itself, so much as the colour scheme. Why the hell would an Amazonian princess be wearing the American flag on her outfit?

What I would do would be either:

A. Just basically giver her the new Wonder Girl's costume or

B. turn the red parts into sort of a worn out leather look, and the also convert to blue parts to that same reddish-brown leather colour and texture. Also, swap out the underwear for those Roman war... skirt... things. I don't know what they're called but I know she's been drawn like that before.

Waaaaay back when Joss Whedon was going to make WW, he mentioned that she definitely would not have the star-spangled thong. So I always imagined that he was going for something more like the war skirt.

All they gotta do is: Make the symbol about 2-inches taller & wider, make the blue a darker blue, open up the neck a little more, and the red less muted, especially in the symbol and cape. And fix the hair.

I picture the costumes goin like this

Superman-same as SR

Batman- Maybe a little like the 1st Batman movie or Batman forever style I dont really like the Batman Begins style

Wonder Woman- Kinda like the Warrior style that was cool but maybe they can change it up to her usual costume in the sequel if there is one

Green Lantern- I always pictured GL in like a leather uniform that resembles the original

The Flash- The outfit has to be breathable and runable so maybe made from the same stuff that the spiderman suit was made in but it looks like the one from the show

Martain Manhunter- Makeup mixed with CGI but only for the action scenes

I could accept the normal costume if they tell Wonder Woman she needs an image change. Because the public doesn't feel comfortable with a axe swinging hero that dresses like it's war every single day.

this is exactly what i have in mind, but not so much weapons and loose the gloves and headgear-- she doesnt need it.

in some quarters there's this huge brouhaha over Xena and Wonder Woman. i'd say give that Xena ripped off--- errr was inspired from WW so much it would be just right that WW borrow some ideas from the other franchise

I agree wit ya but I think having a more leather slip on would be great cause the actor would really have to get fit to look good in a skin tight suit like spiderman or maybe if the suit looked more like a sort of cop mixed with batman

That's way to complex and busy for my tastes. Part of my love for the GL costume is the simplicity of it.
