WB's 'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them' original script by J.K. Rowling - Part 2

Did know Jared Harris is Richard Harris' son? Learn something new.

How old is Dumbledore in these? I vote Ewan McGregor

He'd be in his 40s. Right? Depp looked like a very old 60ish person.

Doesn't Dumbeldore not see Grindewald since they were like 18 until their final duel? Obviously they can change the book canon, but still

I like Ewan McGregor, but I'm not sure how he'd feel being a younger version (and having to mimic) of an already much loved established character in a prequel franchise again. He was really good as Obi-Wan, maybe even my favourite part of the PT's he brought the right wiseness but also strength, but I would feel he'd be typecast.

I got sorted into ravenclaw on pottermore. That'd be cool.

You are my enemy then haha I got sorted into Slytherin :gngl:

For Ilvermorny I was sorted into Wampus :woot:

According to fan theory this is what my combo means:

Wampus Slytherin:*Ruthlessness incarnate, Wamperins have lofty ambitions and will do absolutely anything to achieve them. This is probably the combo with the darkest reputation. I would put Voldemort himself in this category. But do not let you think this is an inherently bad combo, any more than Slytherin itself is. If a Wamperin’s ambition is a benign one their passion for achieving their goals is bound to result in success. And if their cause is righteous, a Wamperin can spark a revolution.

I got sorted into Slytherin and for Ilvermorny, Horned Serpent. What's the theory on that combo?

edit found it

Horned Serpent Slytherins: Slytherserpents have a focus on the cunning aspect of Slytherin house. They are always the ones with the plan and that plan is more often than not at least a little underhanded. While other Slytherins may let their ambitions outmatch their abilities, Slytherserpents never have this problem. They do not achieve their ends through brute force and ruthlessness (as Wumperins do) but through subtle tricks and manipulations.

Bro!! We are the evil wizards lol Well if we go by stereotypes that is :sly::sly::sly:

I got Pukwudgie Ravenclaw.

Pukwudgie Ravenclaws: Pukenclaws are people who use their ideas and intellect to help others. Pukwudgies are known for being healers and it is in this combination that that becomes most literal - Pukenclaws are often Doctors, nurses, vets or surgeons. In their day to day life they are adept at finding the easiest solutions to problems - the masters of “lifehacks”.

I got Ravenclaw Thunderbird

Thunderbird Ravenclaw: Thunderclaws are the creatives and innovators. Luna and her parents would all find themselves in this category. If Thunderbirds are adventurers, Thunderclaws prefer to adventure via stories - sitting curled up with a good book as their mind takes them to far off worlds beyond anything that can be experienced in reality. They are dreamers and idealists and can often get their heads lost in the clouds. It can be painful for them when their dreams do not match up with reality and perhaps the oft-found obsession with fiction is an escape.

Ravenclaw/Wampus.

Wampus Ravenclaw: Wampenclaws are the practical Ravenclaws. These people have ideas and they want them implemented damn it! They are excellent planners and incredibly organised. This combo favours strategists, business leaders and entrepreneurs.

Thought the movie was pretty meh. There was hardly any atmosphere other than the suitcase (compared to HP), the creatures were filler, and the bad guys were cringeworthy. It felt soulless. Eddie Redmayne is a vacuum of charisma. I sure hope the Dumbledore actor they cast takes up the screen.

I think Jude Law would be good as a young Dumbledore.

Any 40-55 Brit male will do. :o

BTDub, Arthur Darvill aka Rip Hunter of LoT wants to play the young Dumbledore.

What British actor of a similar age wouldn't want that role right now? Except for maybe Tom Hardy.

I think the age range for the actors for the Dumbledore could be loose since they can de-age or age the actors themselves, AND that Albus lived up to 115, so you can cast some boyish like Ewen MacGregor. or someone who is more middle age looking like Jared Harris.

Depp and McGregor in a possible one-sided romantic relationship... Sign me up. :o
