Wonder if this is going to have a presence at SDCC.
Already a part of Warner Bros. DC universe as the Flash, Ezra Miller looks to have found his way into the studios other major franchise for the foreseeable future.
Sources tell Variety that Miller is in early talks for the role of Kredan in Warner Bros. upcoming Harry Potter spin-off, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them starring Eddie Redmayne.
It is unknown how close talks are on closing a deal but sources add that for weeks Miller has always been the favorite and in the last week as emerged as the choice for the role.
Sources tell Variety Alison Sudol is Yates’ choice for the role of Queenie, though insiders add no actor has been cast and no offer has been given for that role and that the studio may still be considering an actress that’s more established. As for Jacob, sources say Josh Gad and Michael Cera are meeting next week to see who will take the role of Scamander’s rival.

Octoberist: He's a better actor than Michael Cera. What's more to be said?
Don't you like people who fan cast or what?
Airwings obsession with certain young actors has always creeped me out a little.
And it's always the most random people for the most random of roles.
It's part of the game to become disappointed with how the studios cast. It's not that you want this actor for the movie that bothers me but...
It's because you ALSO get disappointed by your own arbitrary fan casting... which is BONKERS. This is a fact, not an opinion. It's like a weight-less self-fulfilling prophecy that you through many a-times by creating this self-creating hype for no reason.
Image if I, on a whim, randomly wanted Brandon Routh to be in a future Star Wars film (in any role, doesn't matter) and get constantly heart broken when he doesn't get cast in any of them. I would look like (lack for a better word) a nut job.
It's part of the game to become disappointed with how the studios cast.
But it will never stop me from wanting fav actors to get roles.
Once in a while, it turns out good. Like how Tom Holland won the Spider-Man role over kids like Plummer and Lintz.
What about people who want Brad Bird to helm every superhero film (he's always suggested)? Or those who desperately promoted Aaron Paul for The Flash (he was never considered)?Another thing: You have mentioned how the other actors 'steal' roles from the actors that you would randomly picked. And then you whine about it. For no reason.
Tom Holland was actually in the running, and has been documented in the trades for weeks. Dudes like Liam Aiken was never in the running for movies like Fantastic Beasts. There's a difference between the two.
I like Tom Hardy but I'm not gonna go 'Damn he wasn't cast in 'Civil War. Martin Freeman stole his spot (even though I don't know what the role is).' Again that would make look like a crazy person.
