Anyone here collect or even just own any weapons? I've been collecting weapons for a while and wanted to see what everyone else has.

Traditional ones, I mean- no guns.

Let's see some lists or pictures of all your weapons.

Cows fly the best, sheep only fly well if you sheer them first. :)

I have.....I haven't bought anything in a looong time... but back when I did I bought a bunch...I still have them all.

I have:

A Claymore (Broad Sword)
Two Samurai Swords
A Russian kinjal (Short Sword)
An awesome bladed staff (I can't think of the actual name for some reason)
A Spanish Sword (Replica from El Cid)
An Actual US Marine Sword
A cool axe
A Dagger (Knight's Dagger)
Two Sais

And more....just a couple more I can't think of....I should take a pic

Oh, also I got some Lightsaber replica's recently...I suppose they can kinda fit in here.

Dart Vader, Luke Skywalker and Obi Wan.

They are the Master Replica one and kick ass.

Not really, because I'm sure there's someone with faster fists and a worse attitude out there.

A sabre or two, a shiavona, a cutlass, a decent flamberge (not in the best of shape) off the top of my head. Though I much prefer firearms.

I've got a few knives (no pictures), I'm thinking about getting one of these I'm not going to fire it and you don't even need a waiting period for it.

A 19th century French Navy Pistol

an eastern barbarian broadsword
the Poitier shortsword
a rapier with a main gauche hidden in the hilt
a 7 inch coldsteel tanto (anodized)
a starfire bastard sword (King richards faire anyone?)
a hellstorm scimitar
bout 4 boken's
a bunch of shinai
several bo staffs of assorted lengths
etc, etc, etc...

Every chinese and Japanese Traditional Martial Arts Weapon you could think of. Battle Ready and Wooden Practice versions.

Sweet. That's not really as much as I figured some of you guys would have, but still sweet nonetheless.

I'm surprised there haven't been any bows mentioned [if there have, then I missed it]. If any of you have one, what's the draw strength on it? And what type of draw to you use [compound bows don't count, those things are gay]?

Oh yeah, and if anyone has traditional armor too, list that.

Japanese Long Bow, Japanese Cross Bow. Chinese Long Bow and cross bow. I have no clue what the Draw strength would be on any of them.

Ever receive formal training with any of the weapons you own?

Only firearms. I could probably use the rapiers, but I enjoy firearms more, and I'm too small for bigger weapons.

I've never tried rapiers, but I've heard of a few tricks that skilled rapier-wielders use.

It's definitely a weapon I wouldn't mind learning, but not something I'd have chosen to use in a fight back in the day of non-firearm fighting.

Firearms bore me.

Actually, firearms are far more exciting when you take into account the sheer complexity of them.

Blades are...barbaric in comparison.

I'm not into complexity of how it's built, I'm into the complexity of how it's used.

Loading the gun, un-doing a safety switch, and pulling a trigger doesn't classify as a high level of science to me.

Blades are barbaric, but have a very high amount of science and study put into becoming skilled with their use. I've studied the use of knives for years, and I'm still not great with them.

I've studied guns once, and I had a pretty good shot with it, and knew how to use it.
