I don't know about everybody else but I loved Ironhides desgin.

ironhide reminds me of trunks from dbz

he walks the walk, looks the part but as for what he actually does, it's very lil indeed. I guess ultimately they should have given him his own dinstictive fight scene...perhaps after prime and brawl go over the edge, he carried on and let prime get on with getting to protecting the matrix with the others...

apart from some hard core talking and a flip, he really didn't do much...

Great pics! I loved it also, his cannons were totally kicka** and he was totally amazing, can't wait to see him in the next one.

Yeah I want a lot more screen time for the bots that we got to meet and know in this movie in the sequel, focus and build more on them. What do you think, 3 years for a sequel?

In a way i hope so, because i dont want them to rush it, like Fox tends to do. I want them to take their time and create the best sequel possible.

^Ha ha, i'm glad they updated ALL of them, especially Megatron, Bumblebee and Ironhide.

Prime was the only one who didnt need updating by much IMO.

Oh yeah I don't want them to rush it either, 3 years is just fine with me, it will let them take time to come up with a good story to tell and new bots to join in the battle.

They can take 5 years for all i care, as long as they take the right amount of time to make a movie that will surpass or at least equal the first movie, i'll be happy to wait.

I reckon 2010 as well. 2009 seems a bit early at this point, but who know?

They weren't abandoning Jazz, they were protecting Sam and the All Spark while Jazz bought them time. Ratchet told Jazz to retreat, but he chose to stay to buy them some time.

I agree, Ratchet and Ironhide were protecting Sam, the All Spark, and the humans, Jazz chose to take on Megatron and save them knowing that it may cost him his life.

I think that is debatable, when the Soldiers run to Sam to tell him to get the Allspark away, Ratchet and Ironhide are no were to be seen. Its only when Sam starts running away with it they show up. Plus when Megatron attacks Sam himself, they are not there either.

It comes off that they are afraid of Megatron IMO. Whether the film-makers intended that, i dont know.

I think this is one thing we actually don't agree on , Jazz chose to fight and go right at Megatron and that is why he is so awesome, he risked all for others, Ironhide and Ratchet were trying to protect the humans, Sam, and the All Spark.

Also, when Sam left Bumblebee to take the All Spark to the building Ironhide and Ratchet were the ones guarding him, they were attacked by Starscream and held him off so Sam could get the All Spark to the building, I remember Ratchet falling to the ground after they fought telling Sam to "Get to the building", they were damaged badly in the fight with Starscream and that is why they could not help Sam on top of the building, then Megatron flew in after killing Jazz and chased Sam.

Ironhide and ALL the Autobots rocked.

That's what I loved about this movie. All the Autobots and Megatron were characterised just like they should be. Their personalities were perfect, imo.
