• Super Maintenance

Xenforo Cloud upgraded our forum to XenForo version 2.3.4. This update has created styling issues to our current templates.

Starting January 9th, site maintenance is ongoing until further notice, but please report any other issues you may experience so we can look into.

    We apologize for the inconvenience.

I've been nominated by my family to be the web designer of our family genealogy site.

Before I start, what's the best web design software out there?
The more user-friendly the better lol

Also, can someone recommend any good web hosting/domain sites to look into?

and lastly, does anyone know anything about .org sites? I might be hired to do our softball team's site, which is a npo.

Thanks for the help in advance :)

Also, I guess I should mention I'm using XP :(

Assuming you are not wanting to pay, a good program you can use is KomPozer

thanks for the tip Malice

I downloaded it and will try it out to see how I like it.

I do prefer freeware lol, but if there's something that costs money that is top of the line, i might be willing to look into that. what's the best "cost"ware out there? i've heard of dreamweaver, golive, and frontpage, but I don't know anyone who has them, let alone uses them.

If you are willing to spend money.
DreamWeaver is it.
All the way.
