Also Clyde, the pin of course has to be long enough for it to block everything and the spring is needed so that it can stop fire the fluid!

thank you clyde, thank you so much! Ireally appriciate it, this is what i needed to finish everything, to see the final product on a screen so that i can see how it will turn out! that is perfect!
if ii must tell you what is wrong, there are 3 small things.
1. the screw valve should sitt deeper in the valve.
2. the push button should be slightly higher upp and it should have a spring.
3. the entire thing should be upside down, but that does not mather becuse if it was i wouldnt see anything.
so its just minor things, no biggies.
this is great clyde, im super happy, tell me if you need anything and ill try to fix it because i own you one! :D
thank you!!!! :DDDDDDDD

Your welcome. It was fun. I didn't add the screws I just connected the parts together. The screw valve was all the way at the bottom if you see the wire frame view so if you want, I could either decrease the height of the screw valve or I could increase the depth of the valve. I'll add the spring and move the push button higher. As for the upside down part, no problem I will turn it and send you the final picture.

It's not difficult to design once you get the hang of it. Maybe check out some tutorial vids on youtube to help you get started.

dont bather it dude, im super happy as it is!
you can fix it if you want to but its not neccesary, and the turnin g will make it hard to see!
but thanks bro, i really, really, really appriciate it! :DD

Omg Frickin CLOSER!!!! I knew we coul of it!!! YOU GUYS ARE ON FIRE!
Now if only I had money...

Ya same here, end of october :D

I'm glad you liked it spideyfan1995 :)

Specsspider, that is brilliant! It is just really great. Fantastic job.

Aracno: Yes it would be ideal to have a small motor to rotate a spinneret. I'm also not sure how it could be done with 'simple' and available tools...
About the pressure, if I may jump in with a suggestion :D... I'm thinking of using small co2 capsules, one or more, connected to a cartridge so it constantly keeps the cartridge (or whatever compartment the fluid is in) pressurised. That way the fluid would shoot out immediately once you pull the trigger or whatever :)
In that case, the cartridge and the nozzle need to be very strong (metal, steel, very strong plastic...)to be able to hold the pressure.

One more thing which I don't get in any webshooter scenario so far is - how to keep the fluid itself (while in a cartridge) in a position so that it's always ready to fire? Imagine a spray-can - you need to hold it in an upright position because if you turn it around all that comes out is pressurised air (or co2 in our case), especially if it's half full or close to empty. And Spiderman, as we know, shoots his webbing in all possible directions, hanging upside down, sideways, upwards, downewards... everywhere. So - how to accomplish that! :)

Sorry if it's too much details, but I think it's important if we're looking to get as close as possible to tre 'real thing'.
Any ideas or possible solutions? :)

Thanks :) I was thinking the same solution, but idk how much pressure we can get by using co2...you know, i would like to shoot very far :)...BTW right now i'm not able to follow the thread as usual :\ i see the others are doing very well, and i'm proud of them. I hope i will be in time to see how they realize the shooter and maybe learn something new from you all.
Ps: i saw your work on the costume replica...brilliant dude ;) keep it up!

1: CO2 pressure= 800 psi at room temperature!
2: how to make it shoot in any direction= a piston infront of the CO2 and behind the fluid!
This should shoot maby 10 meters or 15 meters if you are using a heating system with several small tubes, like my design!:-D

Whoa, thanks bro :D
So you are talking about putting 2 pistons, or a single one?
I'll check your design better during these days :) thank you again!

I know I ask this soo many times :S how would the piston make it shoot in any direction? What would it actually do?

It will push the fluid forward and keep it under constant pressure!
It will make it shot in any direction because the fluid is compressed!
Try keeping a bubble in the middle of a full bottle of water, its impossible because the air always wants to be over the water, same with any gas!
The piston seperates them so the gas will always he behind the fluid and push on it!
Hope that helped, I will not explain again because I have done it like a hundred times now:-P

okey but if the air compressing by a shrader valve don't function in the webshooter why in a spray bottle it function? I think that It was a way but I don't remember.please I hope it does not disturb U

A shrader valve can't compress anything, it just keeps the air/CO2 from escaping!
The piston won't compress anything either, it will only seperate the fluid from the CO2/air!
And the piston does not have a arm like a engine does if anyone thinks so, it is just a 2 centimeter or 1 inch thick metal/plastic round block that will seperate two things, the fluid and the propellant!
It also has one or two o-rings to jeep everything sealed tightly!:-)
Hope it helped!
