Oh. What material should I add to make the formula more elastic?

Ok thanks. Do you recommend a certain brand or are they all the same?
And does anybody know where brado is?

I think I have a formula:
PVA glue, water, vinegar, salt, UniBond glue and rubber cemnt

Make sure you mix the salt and vinegar together, then add to the rest of the formula.

A certain brand of what, which part do you mean?
Brado probably got tired of dealing with trolls and left this thread.

I thought brado had exams or something and told us to yell at him if he came back before his exams ended?

I've been around... typically check the thread every day. I've never really been involved in the actual web shooter part of it though. My biggest contribution was probably roasting the crap out of that liar Exodere. While that was fun (and I mean A LOT), it wasn't really helping to foster a environment where people can come and seriously work on a project like this. I love checking out this thread regularly because you guys are clearly passionate and dedicated to the end result. I guess that's why I have a hard time keeping my mouth shut when some Johnny-come-lately braggart creates a account specifically to blow smoke up everyone's collective ass because he's desperate for the attention (Hope you're reading this Exodere. Still waitin' on that video :cwink:). Keep up the good work! I'm still here almost every day... I'm just a ninja :ninja:.

*** S.P.I.D.E.R. - I see you're Exodere's brother. I sincerely hope you don't take exception to my opinion... I just call 'em like I see 'em. If it's an issue please direct it to my PM. I can't guarantee I'll respond, but I promise I'll read it. As far as I'm concerned, if he's no longer a active member then this board is better off. No point in filling another page with drama. ***

In other news, anyone know of a common anhydrous salt around the average household?

The only two salts i know of that are easy to get is sodium chloride (table salt) and calcium chloride (used to melt snow) both are soluble in water. Just add them to water and wait for them to dissolve. Instead of waiting for the salt to crystalize, boil the water until all the water is removed from the solution a power is seen.

I highly suggest that people talk about webshooters and how they are made....and stop with the juvenile elementary school crap.

why do you want the anyhydrous salt around the average household?
I am going to see which ones could absorb an aqueous solvent the best. For example, if you use a water soluble adhesive, and the anhydrous salt forms bonds to the water molecules, then the water will go away, thus drying the adhesive. The drawback to this is that you have to have an equal molar ratio of the anhydrous salt to the water, assuming you have water as your solvent.

Another question: does anyone know of any very small solenoid valves? I mean ones that can be bought by the consumer, not by a professional firm only or anything.

Can someone please tell me how bike valves work? Is it those one way valve kinds or is it those that you have to turn the knob to close it once you re done pumping?

Oh, and something that has been on my mind for a long time what does it mean to compress the formula? Does that mean mix or squish?
