Hello,

I recently re-installed Photoshop CS3 on a clean Windows XP installation.

Everything works fine, except for the fact that when I try working on a document the screen kind of messes up

Does anyone know what could be causing this, as its the first time I have had this happened to me.

Thanks in advance

that has neverrrr happened to me before.

maybe its your video card or something

I don't know what's causing that.

If you zoom in & zoom out does it go back to normal? if so its just do with the PC not being quite up to scratch or it could just be a Memory issue, either buy more or free up some stuff while using PS. My older PC does this glitchy kinda effect in PS if its been on too long or I have too many applications open.

If its happening often & its not to do with zooming in & out or your PC being a little slugish then like xwolverine2 said I think it would have to be a Video Card problem.

I dont think its a problem with specs :

But thanks for the suggestions, I will try to upgrade my videocard driver, see how that works

seems like a nice PC ;) if video drivers don't work trying doing a clean wipe of CS3, if need be do a google for the Adobe CS3 clean script which if you follow the steps can wipe all traces of CS3 so you will be installing a completely fresh copy of it.

Despite how nice the machine is, it could be the video card. Quick test, try using the integrated graphics card on your method board before loading Photoshop.
