No they don't, we have all the nukes...we are the only nation that could destroy the entire world. Other nations may be developing nuclear tech, but we have enough stockpiled to destroy everyone, everywhere fifteen times over.

Russia and China also have a s**tload of nukes, most of them most probably still pointed at the US. And Israel has 52 nukes, all pointed at nearby countries that DON'T have nukes. But we can't allow for Iran to get nukes, oh no, they might go crazy and use them. Infinite hypocrisy.

And North Korea is a joke, forget about them. The NK government is a threat only to it's own people.

China wouldn't back NK. They have too much to lose. Russia and Israel are cool. They have nukes to defend themselves. Iran has nukes to conquer people with.

Ever since man discovered explosives we have lived in constant fear of being bombed. These days it is more of a shock when the news comes on and the reader says

"News just in. We have not been threatened with a bombing today! That's right, no country has declared it will bomb us for the last 24 hours".

Us humans are becoming increasingly more intelligent and the only thing we seem to 'want' to invent with our advanced intelligence is bigger and better bombs (how intelligent is that?)

We are a strange paradox.

You have to be clever to invent a bomb...but inventing bombs is not a clever idea!

It's not strange at all. The country with the biggest gun has the biggest power. Therefore all the countries try to get big guns to defend themselves and induce stalemate. Makes perfect sense.

To put it another way....

As horrible as it is, as soon as one country is capable of creating nuclear weapons, the other countries know they must have them also as a deterrent.

The biggest question is can anything we do truly be evil? Or is it all just nature and therefor totally natural.?

E.g. When a male lion takes over another lions pride he will kill all the cubs in cold blood...that is nature.

A human being kills a child (yes I know it is wrong and I say kill that evil b**t**d right back)...its evil.

Both are really just animals (Humans are just another species of great ape) so why is one natural and the other evil?

Ok so it was not the best example but at 3:20 am it is the only one I can think of.

Your premise is off base to begin with. Humans are not animals. And yes...evil exists in all of us. Why do we have to teach our children to share or not be selfish?? They do it naturally. The novel "Lord of the Flies" is a excellent depiction of man's base evil nature left without rules.

We are primates like the great apes...we are a great ape.

We might have brains and advanced intelligence but we are still basically hairless gorillas.

Oh and Lord of The Flies is boring as hell. I know I studied it for five months in English Litearture class at college.

People overreact to this kind of news

Do you honestly beleive that North Korea has a chance if they attacked South Korea, Japan, or the United States pre-emptively.

1. The American military is the most technologically advanced military in the world. It may be beat by manpower by nations such as China, but these days, technology can get you very far.

2. The United States has nuclear weapons.

3. China and Russia would not support North Korea in the event of a pre-emptive attack and would condemn North Korea. China and Russia would PROBALLY support North Korea if North Korea was pre-emptively attacked by the United States, not the other way around. China also does not like having the unpredictable leadership of North Korea as an ally.

4. If the United States were attacked pre-emptively it would not only have to deal with the United States but also other nations such as South Korea, Australia, India, New Zealand, Israel, Japan (which would be used as the perfect excuse for Japan to rebuild their military), and NATO would be obligated to participate.

This would most likely be used as a defensive measure if the United States and South Korea invaded North Korea pre-emptively. Which also would not probally happen, because unlike Iraq and Afghanistan, North Korea actually has a competent military and does not posess any oil.
