West Coast Hypesters= Screwed.

Huh, it's almost ironic.

Let's see if you're still smirking when the worlds first class 6 hurricane blows through there. California has no hurricanes. :) It's been sunny out here too. It's only the areas in between that get the snow.

Yeah, but you have Earthquakes, at least we can get ready for our demise.:o :o :o :o :o

Thanks for the bad news, Darth. You're always bring such joy and happiness to the Hype. :oldrazz:

Bah who cares. Most comics these days are garbage anyway! Really, with the delays being as rampant as they are who cares if you have to wait another week for a comic that is already 2 months late hitting the store shelves.

HEY, can't you see the positive in that post? I did say what is another week to wait right?

;)

My area doesn't shake very much. Everybody around use does but we don't. They shake like crazy and we barely notice. A few seconds of light shaking that you can frequently sleep through.:)

Isn't it funny how non-californians think we have earthquakes all the time and that they're all so big that they level cities? It hasn't ever bothered me... Now tornadoes and hurricanes would scare the crap outta me...

I never said all the time did I now? Reading comprehension.

Ignorance is bliss. I guerss everyone always thinks of the big one back in 89 and it scares them. Personally as much as I LOVE Miami (to visit, not to live a it is a fairly dirty city) I will settle for a bad quake every 20 years versus a Hurricane every year.

No contest

I've lived in Miami all my life, I would rather know when something is coming to destroy me, than it randomly hitting me one day without notice. Crazy. And if you wan't to get technical, yes you do have earthquakes all the time.

What constitutes all of the time? Technically "all of the time" would mean "around the clock" and if that were true, then there would most likely be nothing standing in the state of California.

You have mutliple little earthquakes everyday, you wouldn't notice them or barely feel them. If you want to get technical further, they're called tremors, it still does not remove the vailidity of my first statement. Also, some areas of california do get Hurricanes as well, but of course, thats far too logical.

Most earthquakes don't shake a house more than a passing truck unless you're right on top of it. You get 4 or 5 seconds of window rattling and it's over.

New Jersey. No hurricanes, earthquakes, twisters, or floods. Just smog.

I think my friends from the west coast will agree, we're glad were not from New Jersey.:o

Yeah, we've seen the pictures on television of the snowstorms. No thanks, I'll take winters in the 70's any time.

Actually, hurricanes and tornados would be AWESOME to witness. (Always have wanted to.) Earthquakes suck.

ahem

"No hurricane has hit the California Coast since records began, but a tropical storm with 50 mph winds did come ashore at Long Beach on Sept. 25, 1939, killing at least 45 people. (Related: Tropical storms to affect California)."

It's a bummer about the West Coast thing. CW #6 is a hot book.

I'll ask this now: In respect to West Coasters, when I inevitabley write my BOUGHT/THOUGHT on Thursday or Friday, should I:

1). Post the thing as I usually do, all text, no spoiler tags?
2). Post it, but spoiler tag it so West Coasters can choose to avoid it?
or
3). Not post it at all?

I imagine sheer chaos at the boards anyway, but I figured I'd ask before deciding the best course. I was leaning towards #2, as for some reason many people don't mind spoilers anyway.
